I don’t blame anyone for not knowing this, but the “villains” in this movie aren’t the same from the previous one. The studio was just too lazy to bother changing their appearance
The funny thing to mention about the villains is that they're surprisingly more logical than the so called "good" people of Atlantis, think about it. The king of Atlantis gives them the elixir of immortality to live in Atlantis and on that island forever away from civilization (yet Elizabeth and Don Juan are fine with this?) whereas the rats want to use the elixir to fight back at them and stop with all these insanities. Granted, that does include them wanting to take over the world, but at least they're trying to stop human beings from ever entering that hellhole of an undersea world. How the hell do you get something as basic as human desires so wrong?
Also, Perfect Blue is next! I'm so happy.

Those 48 seconds alone is better than anything that came out of the Titanic animated series as a whole.
I love this movie’s ending, because it ends with Top Conors living forever on that island. This means that he never went back to live in New York to have children and start telling the first movie. This means that the first movie never happened, which means it’s sequel never happened either

This will go down in history as one of the worst animated films of all time along with it's predecessor which also was called one of the worst animated films ever. The moral of the story is...DON'T MAKE FUN OF THE TITANIC!
They weren't necessarily "making fun" of the titanic, they were just sugar coating the true events and bogging it down with talking animals and a dumb romance angle for kids, let's just say it didn't exactly end up well.

You know, people can say what they will about James Cameron's Titanic, but its a million times better than the animated counterparts.

There exists an animated series called "Fantasy Island" with episodes right here on TH-cam, that's a continuation of this movie. And there appear to be at least 26 of them! I randomly picked a point in the middle of the 26th episode, and yup, the Titanic is still somehow involved in whatever is going on in Atlantis.
So far I've not seen anybody review that, though I'm not sure if there's enough alcohol in the world to make that bearable.

It should’ve earned it. At least the rapping dog was somewhat funny in some strange way. Yes it was bad as all heck, but it could be seen as a so bad it’s good kind of feel as it is catchy. These songs are just bad and forgettable and pointless and boring!

What the heck is that? A sequel?
I remember someone told me about this and the rapping shark and I screamed "WHAT???" How was this real? There was nothing about the first film that warranted a sequel, and even if there was it wouldn't be worth it! Why? Because it wrapped up the story with nothing left to tell and was horribly insulting to the people who actually died on the Titanic. It's a sad day when I have to give Disney direct to DVD sequels more credit. Even Belle's Magical Trash I would believe had one or two writers who cared and it could fit the time frame had there been better writing. Here, I can't even tell if there was one sober writer at all!!!

And what's also shocking is that one voice actor signed to all three movies! Greg Snegoff, voiced the villain in The Legend of the Titanic, the rapping dog in Titanic: The Legend Goes On, and Smile the dog in Tentacolino. What did he do in life that made him sign on to three of the worst animated films ever made?

You know, speaking of the asylum, the rats' fate is pretty messed up. After some sort of rat governor is almost drowned when the would be usurper thinks he still has the immortality concoction, he's sent to the mental institution where he's deemed irreversibly insane and confined there forever. And since he's immortal, that's essentially a sentence to Hell... and the doctor is weirdly sinister about it.

I always wondered how if the survivors of the Titanic or families members would feel if they ever saw this. Believe they would boycott this movie or try to ban it.
Probably would've disowned the film and call it "absolutely tasteless". Then-last living survivor of the Titanic (Millvina Dean) declined invited to the premiere both James Cameron's Titanic and Ghost Of The Abyss because she had nightmares from A Night to Remember, and had criticized the Doctor Who episode "Voyage of the Damned" because the voyage bore striking similarities to the fabled ship down to its name.
It was so close to be the 4th film you reviewed to get a 1/10
