Thank you, Karen. Just subscribed. Really helpful because I have this model at home. Thank you for all you are doing to help students THRIVE even through this really difficult time. Keep shining!
Do you mind sharing favorite bats for Shimpo aspire? The wobble and banging to attach would drive me nutty. : ) I have the opportunity to buy an almost new one although it’s 12 years old. The blue plastic bats that come with it seem a bit wobbly or warped. Also there is a slight thump or knocking sound when on full speed. Any ideas?
This is the wheel I have. I'm disabled and this wheel also comes with a hand lever so for me. I throw sitting down and use the lever it works really well for me as a disabled beginner.
PLEASE could you answer a question for me? I've just bought the Shimpo Aspire. When the wheel starts turning, there is a quiet "tapping" sound coming from the motor. When it gets faster and to full speed, the tapping sound is more prominent (and slightly annoying). Could you please let me know if your Shimpos also have this tapping sound, or if you can only here the normal constant hum of the motor? Kind regards, Richard.
i use sewing i drop or 2 of machine oil on the rubber piece's it helps to get the nubs to squeeze into the rubber on the bat plus it protects the rubber from drying up and falling apart.
I have an CI Arista- before it was bought by Speedball- and it is very similar in capabilities. The one big difference is the wheel head size. The Arista is closer to standard with standard spaced bat pins and I didn’t have to get smaller bats to use it.

Awww!!! Thanks!!!
@@KaransPotsAndGlass do you think this model would be okay outside (on my porch) if I kept a plastic bin on top of it to shelter it from the elements?

Dirty Girls makes a 10” Masonite bat for the Aspire and they fit really well, no wobbling. I got mine at Clay King. Love my little Aspire!
Great to know!! The ones I ordered years ago were Wonderbats!
These are the ones I use as well. I love them.
Are you familiar with the Speedball Arista? If so, which is better, Arista or Aspire?
