  • In this video, I show you and tell you when to turn and straighten the steering wheel for right and left turns. If you are turning a car, you are going to have to control the steering wheel. This requires you to turn the wheel and straighten it in order to complete the turn safely and properly. I show you exactly when to do those two things with the turns that you will be making as a driver.

    I’m a new driver but when I make turns I just think “ Brake .. Release .. and then accelerate “ when making turns . My only issue was for sure straighten the wheel smoothly with out jerking and going over the line a bit 😭

      The man says we should release the wheel and it will naturally rotate the opposite way of which it was turned and straighten itself but guess what I am too scared and nervous to release it 🥴.

      @@tiffanycummings2079 see I was the EXACT SAME WAY at the beginning!! I still don’t trust the wheel 100% at times so I will VERY LIGHTLY guide the steering wheel with my hands when the wheel is straighten out but let the wheel do the rest of the work a bit !

      @@ayiannajolie7242 Sigh I understand and I can picture what you say you do and it’s good advice. Right now I just need to get back around the steering wheel and get more practice 😪.

    I have my road test coming up shortly and struggling to straighten the wheel when I make turns, the instructor doesn’t help me. All he do is tell me when to make turn kit.

    If we want to recover the steering to straight ourself (not automatically) then how to know the wheels have become straight while doing we may understeer or oversteer..?

    • @gotworc
      @gotworc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because you'll be going straight and you won't feel and pulling from the left or right of the wheel trying to correct it

    Can I ask somebody a tip about driving? I want to be a safe driver and learn from not only my own experience, but also the experience of other people. When you turn right or left and straighten the wheel, do you let the wheel turn by itself until the car is straight while letting it slide on one hand, or do you straighten it manually with your hands? Which is recommended by driving experts and safer?

    • @vantivecorniluis4013
      @vantivecorniluis4013 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From what I’ve gathered as also now being a new driver that you should only manually straighten it if you think you’re too close the curb/parked cars or your car is gradually pointed towards the other lane, especially for tight turns. Also go to the house jam packed neighborhoods to practice your turns to make sure you’re doing so correctly and safely.

    When turning right, do you turn your wheel as soon as your front wheels either the intersection?
