    Hey Ben, as always top video. For guys that are using the Plant Doctor range, I use Nature's soil wetter as my surfactant. Plus the bonus of all the goodies in it. May save a few doubling up in products. Always test before mixing of course.

    • @LawnTips
      @LawnTips  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate,
      Awesome, wasn’t aware that product in particular could be used as a surfactant. I’ll pin this to the top 👍🏽

      So does Fulvic acid work as a surficant?

    • @kevvyK875
      @kevvyK875 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      www.plantdoctor.com.au/natures-soil-wetter-super-concentrated-plant-deriv As a all round wetter and surfactant. The fulvic and other goodies are the bonus.

    Lot of good stuff in there mate. I've been lucky so far avoiding fungus issues. Hope it stays that way. Getting ready to go out with a second round of herbicide. The first round was great a lot of the clover and nearly all the wild violet is gone. I missed some (I knew I would) and have some new growth of clover to get. Nothing unexpected and possibly even a little better than I had planned.
    World Cup has been exciting. Favorites have not really stood out so far and some of those next tier teams have been sharp. Could be a real shocker to lift the trophy this year.
    Have a great week. Good luck to Australia. Of course best wishes to your family as well.

      Good to know the herbicide is doing its thing man, that’s what you want haha.
      Has been an interesting World Cup. Get for the knockout stages. Should make things exciting!
      Bummer about Australia. Ah well!

  • @robfreeman4550
    @robfreeman4550 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Single strait stripe, double cut in same direction , must be same direction , so basically do 2 exact same cuts to make stripes pop.
    1 pass makes a nice stripe , 2 passes in same direction makes it pop ,Kapoweee!!!!.
    Then Do all the different types of cuts over a few weeks and with time lapse we will compare.
    Cheers mate.

    • @LawnTips
      @LawnTips  6 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @nathanmay86
    @nathanmay86 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    East west mows vs north south... see which way the lines stand out more with the suns reflection?? Eg which way will pop more from the street view??

    • @LawnTips
      @LawnTips  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually on an angle facing the garage out the front pops more. As for the back depends on the time of day. But same thing. Stripes facing the shed pop the most in the arvo

    Hey mate, what product would you use on winter grass weed? Iv got perinnial rye 👌

    • @LawnTips
      @LawnTips  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man! You can use endothal! Just don’t apply it if you are getting frosts

    • @paulmedwin
      @paulmedwin 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah thanks mate, quick reply. I'm still getting frosts, the weeds multiplying so quick arghhhhh, wait until no frosts then apply as needed? Where would you recommend to purchase? Cheers bud!

    • @LawnTips
      @LawnTips  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can apply most other herbicides just not endothal unfortunately. Just doesn’t mix well with the frost.
      You can purchase some from either globe or nuturf. I know Lawn Pride is coming out with a 1L size soon. (It’s called Poa chek)
      Alternatively Bunnings sells some called wintergrass killer also, same active just isn’t as strong generally.
