Bang on about those impact sprinklers. You can get away with 2 off mains in sequence, but if you're running a timer or anything else that restricts flow at all you'll start to struggle to get enough pressure for the mechanical function. Those particular sprinklers are great but one of the arms is prone to cracking. There's a purple and grey (grey water) sprinkler made from plastic that you can get from Bunnings that is easier to dial in the settings + a little more resilient and about half the price. The tabs that cause it to switch direction can just be a bit fiddly on them.
Nice vid. I use the exact same setup but use the Eve Aqua (for remote access and scheduling/automations) and a Gardena Water distributor for multi zone watering. There is a great blog post from Eve which explains how to setup automatic multi-zone watering. Which I can’t provide the link to due to YT deleting my post 🤦♂️
Yo mate what up welcome to another lawn tip vid.. got a Christmas mow in today here in NZ like i do every year🤣 have a good one mate hopefully you got some cool new mower and not a bag of coal🤙🤣
Merry Christmas mate!!! Gonna be exciting showing off your property with all the guests for the wedding. Please get some footage of that if you feel like it. I know you may be busy, but would be cool to see some b roll and discussing upcoming projects. Hope you and your family have a great holiday! Cheers from Utah!
hunter node you set what day and how long you want it to run very simple to work out, use at work at cemetery to keep both gardens and lawns looking mint 😀
Merry Christmas mate, Eat & drink have a great day with Fam. Only problem I can see with using a domestic Bluetooth or wifi will be the pressure reduction through it, certainly not gunna run 3 impacts like you are there. Hunter node be your best bet
Just get a regular hose end auto timer set it up make sure it works then don’t worry about it. Bluetooth and or WiFi won’t work if your not on the property
How do you keep pressure between the sprinklers? I tried setting up a similar above ground system with home pressure but it wouldn’t even work with two
You might have a flow problem, not necessarily pressure. Depends on what heads you have but every type of head demands a certain amount of flow (gpm). And that flow decreases/increases based on length of run, hose diameter, diameter of connections at each daisy chain and sizes of all of your indoor/outdoor plumbing that connects to your house spigot. I watched Ryan Knorr a couple years ago do this but he was on public water. I’m on a well so it didn’t work. If you have trouble you may need to get a separate irrigation well dug. Example, my gpm at the well pump (before going through all the indoor plumbing was like 35 gpm) but at the exterior spigot was only 4.5 gpm. That will barely be enough flow for one sprinkler head let alone multiple.
I use the Australian made Linktap timers. Built to last and everything just works.
Surprise vid. Love it.

Impact sprinklers are underrated

Merry Christmas to you and your family mate.
Use a b-hyve Bluetooth controller mate
Super easy to set up and switch on and program.
Got mine from Bunnings
Merry Christmas mate. Just picked up a Holman wifi timer from Bunnings for a garden in the backyard, it’s great.
How much are they mate? That the one you can switch on with your phone?

How much water you use per day for the green?
ryegrass in the middle of the summer??? is it possible? what are your highs and lows temperatures?
l would of thought the soil would be to hot to re-seed? l am in Qld and was going to wait till the end of summer. Have a happy Christmas mate.

A wifi relay / power adapter might be better than Bluetooth, then you’ll be able to switch on the pump from anywhere.
Can’t do blue tooth overseas only works within small distance. You’ll need a wifi controller.

How do you feel about Wobble tee sprinkler heads?
Would be better off to buy a hunter BT node in with a 25mm DC valve, battery operated, loves in the valve box
Hunter Node all the way for Bluetooth controller.
Use a hunter node. Don't use the Bluetooth node.
