Talked to someone close to the 157 last night and was told that they were not going to race this weekend at Eldora. They were down on power. Apparently they found it was an issue with the carburetor. From what I gathered it wasn’t discovered until they were back at the shop. This is just what I was told in a brief conversation more or less. Hard to understand being down on power but was leading the heat race he got the flat during the race on Saturday.
Ya think it may be more from talking to them or no? Kinda crazy they whoudnt have a back up Carb or 2 in the trailer maybe something deeper in the motor or car.
Great show Again . Davenport can run when it pays and has a history of it. Marlar is a surprize no show but he has pulled back before. Maybe connected,he knew Superman found his cape.

I think its time to start teching these cars a little closer. JD can drive, but no one is that much better than the best of the best if everyone is playing fair
They were saying on Flo there would be 700 less laps of racing through the weekend. Sound more like Tony want to save some money for his nhra team then give the fans cars on the track like they came to see.

If they were smart they would have an event. But trade. There are outlaw controlled tracks and if outlaws really wanted SLC should oblige and simply ask for another comparable track in return. A few Ohio tracks come to mind.

I got a notice this morning Port Royal is cancelled. They will run it in March
Short Track Super Series at Port was sacked. It was supposed to run in October. Not High Limit and the Tusky 50 this weekend. That is still on.
