      OK,
      Tell me what they did.
I want you to tell me what they were known to have done before 1945.
Because Dresden was bombed with 30,000 dead in one night.
The largest bombing raid in one night in Britain killed 166 in Coventry.
      100,000 in Tokyo.
I hope youre not American or British ?
Because the USA left 7 million dead in Indochina. 5 million of whom were civilian.
The bombing of neutral cambodia was illegal , and kept secret from Congress for SIX years.
Almost 4 million were starved in Bangladesh because Britain needed their food when fighting the Japanese.
The British then used re-armed Japanese PoWs to help crush the very Viets who had fought the Japanese.
US dogfights against Russians were common right into 1946,even though they had sacrificed 18 million and recieved NOTHING from the Marshall plan (but Germany was rebuilt faster than any other country ?)
Right now as we speak , the "fuzzy wuzzy angels" who collected and carried wounded Australians,British and Americans in Papua New Guinea are suffering a Western backed Genocide by Indonesia.
Thats the THIRD genocide by Indonesia done with US/UK money and weapons so that the USA and UK could get their mining rights and oil rights.
2 MILLION children just under 5 years old were killed in Iraq under Clinton , by US imposed sanctions.
      TWO MILLION UNDER 5
The United Nations called it "genocide of an entire society" .
While the USAAF were sending THOUSANDS of bombers in single raids on Germany , it was pure savagery.
So , enlighten me ; Why did they carpet bomb entire cities of civilians ?

I don't understand what is "barbaric" about organising the trials and subsequent executions of murderers. Unlike the murders, the trials and executions were legal and were nowhere near as barbaric as the summary mass murders undertaken by the Nazis throughout the war against both soldiers and civilians. This seems to be another example of click baiting a video which earns the creator both a thumbs down and a 'don't recommend channel' reward. The accounts of German POW's sent to America are quite different. They were treated well, and many former POW's would return for reunions long after the war. The US did not declare war on Germany. It was Germany that declared war on the US.

    • @2TrackMind-c6i
      @2TrackMind-c6i 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

German prisoners transferred to the US were treated very well because their guards were not in combat and never saw much danger. They had little animus towards an enemy who, by then, was pretty harmless and cooperative.
When first surrendered, German troops were NOT treated as well as you think. Probably better than Russian captors, but not necessarily good. They were robbed, beaten, sometimes shot by US troops. There is at least one video showing surrendering German troops, un-armed and waving white kerchiefs, shot down in cold blood by US troops at no more than 50 yards. The first 10 minutes are the most dangerous for any prisoner. Once removed from the immediate combat area, chances were good for better treatment in American or British hands.
French troops were brutal to German prisoners and Austrian civilians. As bad as the Soviets. This was accurately portrayed in Band of Brothers. My mother told me her story of escape and evasion of both Soviet and French troops as she fled Austria in 1945. She ended up in Zell am See, an American controlled sector doing laundry and folding/ironing uniforms for US troops there and was treated properly, although many American soldiers were habitually drunk on duty. She said that American officers policed their men regarding treatment of women, but looked the other way when looted booze was consumed.
I am the result of one such "proper" encounter between a US Seargeant and my mom. His company commander strongly suggested he marry the woman - and he did. Full Disclosure: This was in 1956, but the policies were the same regarding treatment of civilians.

This story proves that not all of the German civilians were innocent or less barbaric than their Natsi heroes. Many claimed that they were unaware of the extreme nature of Heetlur's evil regime. One would like to think that the Natsis were not representative of the German people. Hopefully, that is true. But it takes a certain mindset to cause a man or woman to literally repeatedly bash in the head of a wounded man without any thought of mercy or investigation as to his guilt. Naturally, this was war and this town had suffered greatly at the hands of the Allies. But this sad story shows that the townspeople were solidly aligned with the Natsi's goals and efforts.

What a ridiculous statement. All it shows is that the townspeople were very distressed at the loss of their homes and the killing of family and friends, and that some acted without restraint and were not stopped either by other townspeople or the prisoners' guards. The killing of the US airmen had absolutely nothing to do with the Nazis' goals.

Germany's first significant defeat was in the waters around Norway, even if sealion had taken place, they wouldn't have had the surface fleet to protect it. Not because of the RAF, but because of the RN. And D-Day only happened thanks to winning the Battle of the Atlantic.

What kind of nonsense is this? Kriegsmarine was stronger not by surface, but by the submarine fleet. And in conjunction with Luftwaffe. And mainly for the destruction of ice convoys. 80% of the financing was taken by Heer (Wehrmacht). How much fuel does a battleship eat? And the submarine? And the planes? And the main steel fist is tanks and logistics. And the fuel is Ploiesti and the Caucasus. Was Hitler supposed to sail there on a submarine?
