Bit of a throwback, but was curious to know if you'd tested the new Gen24 Primo 8 and 10's? The 10's datasheet seems to imply it has a better efficiency curve at all voltages, and it doesn't de-rate as much at higher temps as the 6 does.

what about flashing green and orange during the day?

Thanks for your informative Gen24 videos. I had trouble connecting my Gen24 to WIFI but then managed thanks to your video. However, the blue flashing light has been flashing since days now and does'nt stop. Everything appears to be fine now but the blue light keeps flashing. How can I get it back to solid blue? cheers Dete

press the WPS button on your modem, then press the middle (clear) button on your inverter twice with a 1 sec delay between presses, then it will flash green, and then should connect to your modem (wifi)

For the past few weeks, I have had both lights flashing blue from time to time. I think it's trying to update, but if so, it's not working.

Hi,I just installed solar power (Sep 8/23) and my inverter is Fronius Gen24 6.0. But then I received a message like this, so can I ask if it's okay?
Status code:1072: Inverter night mode - Insulation (ISO) measurement failure - Over current
Status 1074: Inverter night mode - Insulation (ISO) measurement failure - Invalid booster state. Can you please let me know, thanks

Hi, looks like you need to update your firmware. It’s best to contact your installer to do this for you.

My neighbour has a 6.6 system with a gen 24 hybrid inverter to run his byd battery and tigo optimisers. He gets about 2 kwhs or more less output than my 6year + 5kw fronius primo 5 with a nearly August 6 year old Powerwall 2. He gets a 1036 error message, which stops generation.

Hey Mark, I don’t think you can put that down to the inverter. Even if it was a cheap and nasty inverter, (if there is no shade) I wouldn’t expect 2kwh difference in production. There is an issue with tigos failing. I’d look into that. But if there are tigos then I’m assuming he has shade or a split orientation in a string, so it would be hard to compare to another system unless everything was identical.

Very helpful. Wish my installer (otherwise good) had been as clear with instructions!
That table of what the coloured lights mean was great- is there a place that can be found?

Thanks for that. Unfortunately my installer was not to good at explaining anything.

@MC Electrical do you know about the switch over time? Apparently it's set to 90 seconds 🫣 but can be changed to 20millseconds like other brands.

@@ausguy4385 if your talking about change over during backup then no u can’t change it. It’s 90sec by factory
