    Where can I get the in line fuse holder?

    Is it safe to put both positive and negative to the fuse? And why?

    • @Wheeler175
      @Wheeler175 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that connects the two batteries in series to get 24V from the set of two 12V batteries. The fuse does not have a specific require polarity, so it can go in there either direction. You would not connect the positive and negative terminal of the same battery with that fused wire or you’ll short circuit the battery and blow the fuse, but since it’s positive from one battery and negative of the other, it stacks the batteries in series and is completely fine.

    Do you have a video for version 8 Mx 350? Also where can I cheaply find the wires? Mine were corroded and welded to the battery and broke? Also, where can you cheaply find the batteries for that version the $30 9+ versions of batteries don’t work. Thank you. My son is finding these to be a money pit. 😢

    Is it going to be a problem if you tape the batteries together

    • @MonsterScooterParts
      @MonsterScooterParts  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as the battery terminals are not touching each other, or touching any metal, there shouldn't be an issue if the batteries are taped together. But, as we are a parts-retailer only, if you are at all concerned, we would recommend reaching out to Razor directly to inquire about that as we are not technicians.

    How would you go about wiring fuses on 6x12 volt battery’s

    • @MonsterScooterParts
      @MonsterScooterParts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That might depend on a few things - we'd recommend performing further independent research to find fuse-wiring information for 72-volt setups. Unfortunately, as we are not technicians, we are unable to provide this level of technical assistance.

    Ok so I know this is stupid but I made the mistake of switching the +\- cables on the outside terminals (I was sleep deprived)...when I switched the bike on, I heard a strange sound and the power light came on the switch but the bike would not go. I realized what I did and switched them back and the power still lights on but it still won’t go. What damage have I done and how can I fix it?

    • @MonsterScooterParts
      @MonsterScooterParts  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! I'd first recommend checking the fuse inside the fuse holder - it should be pretty obvious if the fuse has burnt out, and if that's the case, you can simply replace the fuse. If the fuse looks okay, or if you replace the fuse and the issue remains, I'd next recommend getting the batteries Load Tested at a local autoparts store, Batteries Plus, or Walmart Automotive center. A Load Test will determine if the batteries are still healthy - if the batteries fail the load test, you will need to replace them. If the batteries pass a Load Test & the fuse is okay, take a look at all the wires to ensure none are damaged. If the MX350 still won't run after all this, you may want to contact Razor directly for further technical assistance as the controller could have been damaged.

      @@MonsterScooterParts thank you for the quick reply. I checked the fuse right away and it was fine. I should’ve mentioned that. I seem to remember it making a weird smell also. I guess I was assuming since the power light came on that the batteries were still okay and that with even a little power it would’ve tried to move a little?? If it is the controller I have damaged, I can replace that myself, right?

    Would u have to plug in the postive on 1 battery and the negitive on the other?

    • @MonsterScooterParts
      @MonsterScooterParts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally speaking, yes. You will need to wire the batteries in series, as shown in this video. You will connect the negative terminal on one battery to the positive terminal on the other, then have a wire connected to the available positive terminal and a separate wire connected to the available negative terminal.

    How would u charge both batteries at the same time?

    • @MonsterScooterParts
      @MonsterScooterParts  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When the batteries are wired in series as shown in this video, both batteries will charge together.

      If you have not yet charged the batteries overnight, or for at least 8 hours, the batteries may simply not be charged enough to start the bike. We recommend charging batteries for at least 8 hours before first use. If the batteries are fully charged, we'd suggest consulting the owner's manual for additional troubleshooting. A free digital copy of the owner's manual can be found here: manuals.monsterscooterparts.com/recreational/Razor/manual-razor-mx350-mx400.pdf

    What is Versions 9+

    • @MonsterScooterParts
      @MonsterScooterParts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Razor has been producing their MX350 model for a few years, and have changed some parts of the manufacturing during the course of production. The version number helps to determine which exact control module, throttle, and battery wiring harnesses are needed. The version number can be found in the Product ID, which can often be found on the original charger or near the batteries on a Razor barcode sticker. The Product ID will consist of 6 digits followed by a dash, followed by 2 digits then another dash. The 2 digits in between the dashes is the version number. For example, a Product ID of 123412-03- would be a version 3.
      We hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or if you need further assistance.
