I love this video because it gives an introspective look into the fact that Christian was smitten with Ana from the beginning. However, he was unable to express love (due to his painful pass). In my opinion Ana's patience and her ability to cultivate love in him is the one reason he fell in love with her and ultimately decided to spend the rest of his life with her. Women prior to her, most likely, accepted the submissive idea he suggested to them. Maybe in an attempt to win his heart. But he didn't need a woman simply willing to submit. He needed something more. Which was someone to love him enough to show him that he was able to express, and receive love, regardless of his pass.

I was so sad when it ended but I absolutely loved the montage that Ana had of their relationship from the start. It shows that this is truly a love story between two people who helped each other to be better people!

I was sobbing so so so much during this last scene. It’s a combination of this beautiful song, the flashbacks, and realizing that this story is over.

The sales and watch numbers show that an enormous amount of women long for an abusive, dominant, toxic hyper masculine, rich Prince Charming to seduce them. But they even cry for the fantasy of turning him around to actually fall for them.
The reality is that most women can have a chance at finding such a guy but the guy will not be turned and most of the time not Fall for them. Instead, women will fall for the bad boys and settle with an average guy. This is the prosaic reality that drives the fans' fantasies.

Okay granted the trilogy isn’t great and has many issues involving their relationship but I think that Dakota Johnson is the reason why it lasted as long as it did, she’s given it her all from the beginning and was kind of sad that we wouldn’t see her in this role again
