I live close to a lake that is full of Canada Geese. I was trying to go fishing, when 20 or so goose heads just stick out of the tall grass and start hissing at me. I swear those birds came straight out of hell. I’m not even Canadian, so I can’t imagine what it’s like for them!

Canadian Geese can be appeased by leaving food such as bread crumbs on the grass beside the sidewalk for them, of course you have to deal with mountains of goose poop in that scenario but it's better than getting chased around.

Eventually, everyone will be "consumed by nature" but having a loved one being simply eaten by scavengers, or just rotting away somewhere out there, and you never get to say goodbye feels kinda depressing. Unless that's something you're fine with, that's ok, usually people prefer to have closure tho.
