inally found this . amazing performance. i climbed on top of the D-section barrier 50 meters back and saw tool like a god!!!!!!!! will never forget seeing 4 songs before 4 security staff got me from 50 feet up. Godd times
I was there. It was my first time seeing tool, i bought tickets from a scalper just to see tool and was seeing them and the entertainment centre the next night! Big day out that night was a dead crowd :(
That year there were two days of the Sydney Big Day Out. Day one was sold out but day two still had tickets selling at the gate. I went to day two and the crowd was pretty sparse. I didn’t mind that though. Also Muse were on the previous year. Rammstein played that year before these guys. In between the two was a guy playing a trumpet that was on fire. Pretty weird but cool.
@@calamtransgression9264 the guy below me made me remember I went on the second night. The first night presumably would've been better But I definitely remember muse killing it perfectly and loudly before tool.
Okay why the fuck is this band playing at a festival like this. Half the people here will be thinking that it's absolute shit and I can't disagree with them. around the 5-7 mark is sounds like absolute shit. Anyway, I'm a big Tool fan btw just don't understand their live approach at times.
these festivals were during the australian summer, the average weather around that time of jan was 40 degrees, they were brutal days to make it to the end
I filmed this. I wish the audio was better
