    I just received this scooter 2 weeks ago and I must say, it's truly remarkable. It handles beautifully and provides a smooth ride thanks to its top-notch suspension. The 72V hub motor is impressively powerful and the scooter comes with a reliable LG battery. It also features PMT tires and a Nutt brake system, which contribute to its speedy performance. Considering its price, it's quite surprising to see that all the accessories come from reputable brands. In terms of value for money, I believe this scooter is second to none.

      this was the response from director of maxfun 10 pro
      "In early of 2024 we plan to upgrade the current Maxfun 10 Pro with 10x3.5 tyres and top speed will be 80+ km/h, also a new model Maxfun 11 Pro with top speed 100+ km/h.
      For the current Maxfun 10 Pro with 10x3 tyres, if too high speed there may be potential risk for rider, and we need to balance the safety and top speed.
      Maxfun 10 Pro is one compact and portable high speed electric scooter, and with big 72V24Ah battery there is no more room for bigger controller.
      Maxfun 10 Pro is a very cost-effective electric scooter with LG battery and PMT tyres, and you can consider it.

    Got this scooter last week. I'm impressed. Very nice handling, ride, smooth suspension, and it's quick.
    I did discover firmware bugs/inconsistencies. Not a safety hazard, but bugs nonetheless. I INFORMED Maxfun team. They report they are working on resolving the areas I pointed out.

    • @bcr003
      @bcr003 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@ElectricVehicleSpace your review and another review I saw, together were what made me pull trigger and buy it.
      Your review was accurate, but my experience has been dealing with a few firmware bugs and/or inconsistencies.
      1. If you go into P settings (hit 'M' button twice and you go to P settings). Go to P3 and set it to value=1 (imperial, which is for MPH, used in United States). The mph has km distance. Maxfun is updating this I think. I'll know soon.
      2. P setting P4, set value=5. The user manual says it is 0,1 values only, but it's actually 3, 5. 3 is for 3 levels of power, 5 is 5 levels. Well, when riding with 5 levels of power, speed level 3 was 100% power (more power than power level 4, but same as level 5).
      3. Dual/single motor mode operation does not save to the riders last used setting. I think that is an oversight. Maxfun may fix this as well.
      4. When powering on scooter, the speed level defaults to level 1. It was not doing this when I first got scooter, so not sure what's going on. Level 1 has major delay and is way under powered. It should be 20% power with a speed limit of maybe 3 mph (5 kph). The speed level should be set at the rider's last saved speed level. Again, I think it's either a bug or an oversight by Maxfun. We will soon see. I think they are reviewing this.
      5. There's more but I'll stop here for now.
      *overall, Maxfun support has been top notch. The scooter is fantastic! I've ridden many scooters, and for the money, this is one of the very best values I've seen. I've ridden faster and much more expensive scooters, but this Maxfun is best bang for buck IMO.

    72v is great in a class 4 form factor (80 - 85 lbs +/-), hope to see more like that! But in general, and in NYC particularly with evolving laws, entrants need to have name brand (LG, Panasonic, etc. Not generic Chinese) quality batteries and top tier BMS's for fire safety. Battery manufacturer should be part of every modern review. (If they're generic Chinese, then say so.). Also, personally, not a fan of thumb throttle, prefer old school trigger. For practical usability with performance, class 4 makes a great every day driver, but quality known cells and BMS are a must. Time to start to factor those in on reviews. Thank you.
