It's true man they're really getting it together now it's good to see. Sadly most of these are illegal in the EU and uk so it's a underground thing that we desperately need to improve air quality in cities

What are you talking about? There's tons of 8-10Kw folding scooters here that do 60-70mph.

This definitely goes 50mph + once unlocked for the USA market. Love how it’s packed with features, true smart bike. If nyc bans or heavily restricts PEVS, I’m getting an m1 and buying something like this.

@@rafaelramos2299It won't be $2k for a fast version. Also the RRP is 4000w (versus 1200w) and does 50 mph from the factory.
RRP can run on 72v. Just need a different battery. Nothing else needs to change.

it was 60 kmh miles only 37 since it is limited.
They have got to make a double hub motor version of this bike.

Its basically a Roadrunner with full suspension, a nicer design, and more low end power, honestly a wonderful option, if my Billie Goat V2 is sold out by the time I'm saved up, this is my backup
Update: GOAT jacked up their prices while I was saving 😒 getting a K8 scooter next week to commute till the Hyhawk releases, I'll be using the K8 to Doordash enough money for the Hyhawk by pre-order time 😁

Seems super smooth , I like it . I work at all the convention centers there in Vegas on all the conventions . Now every building wants to make it so we can't bring our PEVs in the building, especially the LVCC . My electric scooters have made my life sooooo much easier by transporting me from parking to the buildings. I do not ride inside the buildings, but the people who do are ruining it for the rest of us ! I have A Kaboo Mantis 8 and in just a few months it has saved me from walking over 130 miles ! I have a bad knee and I truly need my scooter to get me to work. Hopefully I can get permission to keep bringing my transportation into the buildings.
When will this bike be purchaseable in the US? I see on AIMA's china website that it isn't even there, and there are only two bikes on the US website. Bike looks amazing and I would definitely buy if there was more context.
Only had it for like 15 or 30 min. There will be more updates closer to the spring or summer.

A version that can keep up with a Roadrunner Pro won't be near $2k. RRP is 4000w (dual 2000w motor and controllers) and does 50 mph. This Hyhawk is only 1200w. It does look great though.

The mid-engine-version gonna be even more lightweight (and give them too a better profit margin), and handle even better, cause of less unsprung mass on the rear wheel... I only disliked, that the design has a bit too many details, I´d prefer it to be smoother (less weight, less things that can break), but with 3D-printers nowadays, one can change many things, and have less detaiils at the end. I mean, it doesn´t look bad, but it looks cool to a teenager, not to an adult... Looks like my 5-year-old "already-a-macho"-nephew designed the details... ;-) ;-) ;-) But I love bikes that look like toys...!!!
I hope they improve but while testing felt good and solid. Design can be adjusted and changed with time.

Hyhawk needs a bigger motor upgrade to at least 2000KW, and the top speed needs to be at least 55mph to be safe on American street. And perhaps a bigger battery too.
55mph outside of NYC will require a license and insurance. I would not opt for that.

It definitely looks cool, but I just bought an Emove Roadrunner V2 that has the same range and top speed as this thing and it only cost me $1200 ($1400+ with taxes and a bike lock, with a black friday deal).
For $2000 I would’ve wanted something with a bit more range and a higher top speed….. with this thing , what you’re paying mostly is for the looks of it…. 🤷🏽♂

and yet i built it and it is fantastic :P bought a £550 bike for £200 used, bought a upp 48v 20ah 960wh battery with lg cell and a csc rear wheel 1500w kit 550 together and its amazing, tops out at 30 mph, keeps up with traffic, hydraulic brakes, lockout forks and does about 18 miles throttle only with my large weight of 106kg on it. £750.@@ElectricVehicleSpace
