Got this scooter. Incredible handling and acceleration. Braking is obnoxiously squeaky, and firmware has various bugs. However, I messaged Maxfun, and they report they are working to resolve the bugs I reported. Overall, I am VERY IMPRESSED with scooter and Maxfun support.

Thank you for mentioning how the throttle feel is. So many reviewers ignore this, and it's a major fun killer for me. I like to have really good throttle control. The phantom and Klima do a great job in that aspect. Most teveruns on the other hand have pretty janky throttle feel (but are good scooters otherwise).
I have a disability, I can barely ride a bike but I can stand forever. I really don't understand how these are so expensive. I paid not much more for my truck. Pretty sad that even these are financially out of reach for those on pension or low income.

It’s probably Varla or one of the other more popular brands rebranded. Kind of like Hyundai/Kia. Customers that get pissed off at the price of a Kia storms out of the dealership “I’m going across the street to Hyundai!” And the dealers thinking “fine, it’s the same company “ 😂. However, the scooter looks sharp. Features seem to be up to date. LG battery is a plus. The rear fender does not extend out enough or curve over the tire enough. And the only reason I’m pointing that out is because in the rain or even riding through standing water-your butt will be soaked. I have that issue with the nanrobot lightning. If the mud guard came out just one more inch, it would be perfect.
One feature thats missing is that red little knob to adjust the suspension like the klima scooter. Nobody likes to be using a coil spanner to adjust the suspension lol.
Much like the Blade 10D limited, these are sleeper scooters. It's once you purchase them, then it's like "WOW WHERE HAVE TOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!!!". And dual 30amp controllers are the same in the Blade 10D Limited...... yet it has a slightly higher top speed, and it is a 60v with 28ah. No TFT display, but at this point I am not sure anymore. Now if this scooter is tubeless pneumatic, this would be the perfect scooter in my collection, if not Blade 10D Limited here I come.

Thank you for an honest review bro it really means a lot. However, I wish somebody would make a scooter. It’s decent for under 1500 bucks they can do 45 miles an hour and it has the same quality cycle anything over $1500 for the scooter it’s just crazy. And I may be a little biased because I’m a motorcycle guy.
Enjoy paying for your gas and paying or always doing maintenance. Scooters are for those of us that want to save money, get to work everyday, go green and just a worry free stressful time.

This is an upgrade over the Eagle One 2.0. More speed, better acceleration, better components, but also more expensive. Depends what your budget is and if the upgrades are worth the extra money. Both are great scooters though
At almost 6'5" 40" (or actually 41.5") based on their website I'd rather have higher. Is it just because the stems aren't strong enough to be really high for us tall folks at let's say 44". Or maybe even make them adjustable to that height 😗 I know Nami's are pretty high as well as the InMotion RS, but the Inmotion is way more than I'd be willing to pay. $2K out the door is what I'd prefer to find. Maybe one day ha, ha.

Its ok for a little scooter. Higher volt is not the secret... It is larger wires ,and larger motors and types of batteries! My foot scooter.. 24s 40ah 8p got 77miles (76.75 miles) before the batteries konked out! Mostly 17-20 mph with a few busts of 50+ mph! That was just one battery. ( LG M50lt cells) ... my scooter takes 2 batteries.

All these scooters are basically copying each other's designs. The knob locking mechanism was originally from nanrobot which was then copied by roadrunner, Varla, and now this. It seems there's no intellectual property ownership in the scooter industry.
Maybe, I don’t know. But I live in San Francisco, and with all of these hills, I can easily get 30 miles out of my Klima before it gets down to 25% battery. And it’s not even the Max version. That’s more than enough for me. And the comfort level is crazy.

You're getting a lot for $2200. PMT Tires, 72V system, LG Cells as stock. It's like a cheaper version of the NAMI Klima. Trades the unique design of the Klima for better performance.
45 mph on a bike/walking path? I was walking on a bike path some kid yells on your left real quick then zoomed past us barely missing my wife. Going I guess close to 30mph! Scared the crap out of my wife, these things are too quiet. Don't be stupid riding this thing on a bike path going 45, stick to the streets!
@@scruffytech 2 things. 1, always have mirrors and check your blind spots because cars never do so we need to. 2, not saying it's your fault but it's common. The same thing happened to me when I was on my scooter going 15mph and a bicyclist went 30 next to me. If you do go for a ride try to maintain situational awareness. Drivers won't be we must.
The same as the kurgo and the RS5 and 100 other scooters LOL and no one wants to buy a 72 volt scooter that goes slower than the 52 V version. It doesn't make sense
It's a pretty clear step up over the Eagle One. This is faster with better components and better range. Both are great scooters but they aren't the same scooter at all

Does this feel same acceleration as vsett10+? I think that company forgot to put that adjustable knob suspension on this scooter like the klima.

That battery life is terrible but overall the scooter is ok. Nothing groundbreaking.

Usually they say that stuff for legal purposes but they can be “unlocked” to higher speeds or cutting a cable like surrons

Wheels look small, seems like if you run over a crack or a rock the scooter would flip over.
10 inch wheels, which is standard for scooters at this level. They look small but work just fine for scooters
