I got 8 years experience in this industry. I mastered all the ground work so I don't have to climb those towers. Scary shit I respect all these guys that does this work

A&L don't do much (if any) grinding while working. Matter of fact, unless something was in our way we didn't do anything that would warrant NEEDING safety glasses doing tower mods.
Why? I have a friend that works them and he likes it but since they have moving parts you have to grease and lube them which he said is not the most fun.
A lot of these guys need to have a lot more training before they set foot on a tower, 120 hours/ 2 weeks is not enough of training. This trial by fire crap puts a lot of stress on the foreman and Tech 3. These guys need a lot more then 2 weeks of training before they are thrown out into the industry. Cramming years of knowledge into two weeks is not feasible or safe. On the job training is not necessarily the right answer or approach. Especially when it comes to the tower industry.

They make 60k per year

Kid, I had NO TRAINING and was climbing towers. It took me a month to get over being sketchy but after that it was just another job.
