We should definitely have a mini Anand saga.
Mega*
We can probably create a saga of his immortals and games for the ages. The game against Lautier with black is a masterpiece, Agad has covered it but I watch it a lot
YES ! Garry Kasparov, in classical slow chess, had beaten Anand 16 times and lost just 6 with 32 draws between them. If we include Rapid chess (Blitz chess wasn’t a thing for most of Kasparov’s time of chess dominance at least not at his level) and exhibition games then the numbers swing even farther towards Kasparov’s favor - he won 26 games to Anand’s 8 with them having 43 draws between them.
Anand crushed levon in his immortal.game. that was un forgetable

Anand is the reason India is such a powerhouse in Chess today. He is the reason there are THREE Indians in the Candidates today. WE WANT A ANAND SAGA! And, a big yes to Anand - Kasparov game.
Which is worse: when Nikhil prank cheated Vishy in a casual simul that increased money for the charity?
Or when Garry cheated Vishy in 1995 PCA classical WCC?
@@nicbentulan what Garry cheated in world championship! 😂
Where is your proof?
@@thedumbestmedicoever4141 Re the 1995 Anand vs Kasparov world championship, Anand took the lead in game 9. In game 10, every time Kasparov made a move, he got up to go to the bathroom and slammed the door behind him so hard the room shook. The young and mild mannered Anand did not complain to the arbiter, who also did not act. Bullying destroys lives, and bullied children suffer lifelong low self esteem. Kasparov needs to be made to confront his behavior and answer for it.
This event ended the 2nd of June of 1996. Miguel Illescas Córdoba got his highest ever FIDE rating, 2640, the month after this tournament, July 1996. #vastknowledge And yes to the Anand Kasparov game!
Anyone advocating for a Anand-Kasparov game should know the following. In the 1995 world championship, Anand took the lead in game 9. In game 10, every time Kasparov made a move, he got up to go to the bathroom and slammed the door behind him so hard the room shook. The young and mild mannered Anand did not complain to the arbiter, who also did not do anything. Bullying destroys lives, and bullied children suffer lifelong low self esteem. Kasparov needs to be made to confront his behavior and answer for it.
Anand has a book, and he definitely overcame a lot of challenges as an Indian chess player. He wasn't always invited to the elite chess tournaments even though he was an elite player. So I please request you to make an Anand saga based on his autobiography.
In Spanish naming conventions, the paternal surname follows the first name, then the maternal surname, so he would be Miguel Illescas. (Cordoba would be his mother's maiden name).
Yeah, he keeps on making the same mistake when the game features spanish or latin american players.
Plus it's CORdoba, not corDOba. That one earned Ricardo Montalban an extra million for that commercial.
Anand has a legendary game against Kasparov from 1991. Reggio Emilia (1991/92) I think where he played 30 engine moves in row.
I would like to see the draw between Anand and Kasparov
Tight game coming down to Bishops and pawns I did see where pushing the black pawns would limit the number of spaces the Bishop could go to but not for the reason you explained thanks for the game
I love this old tournaments sagas.
#suggestion Chigorin-Tarrasch 1983 Round 4 of their match in St.Petersburg. A fantastic game!
Vishy - The Indian Tiger 🐯🇮🇳♟️🔥🔥
The Indian kitten
Thanks for a beautiful game plus some information about DeepBlue.
Good stuff good stuff 👏
of course we want that game between Kasparov and Anand 😍😍😍
when ever agad gives a pause the video moment, i quickly look for b4 and any other weird move 😅😂
#suggestion Finally the old aga! Increadible analysis of the game with all Line ad intricacy!
Hi ur Commentry is like poetry❤❤❤❤
As always, excellent video Agad. Just one thing: Miguel has a Spanish Name so his first Last Name is Illescas, not Córdova. We have a paternal Last Name and a maternal Last Name but the father's last name is usually preferred. That's why Capablanca is known as Capablanca. His first last name is Capablanca.
At 6:40 I thought Qf3. The white rook has to go to f1, and the Queen can pick up the e3 pawn. The black rook will now be able to position itself under the white b pawn, but the white rook cannot attack the black d-pawn.
Totally agree here. Some moves they made were very questionable, but it was back in 1996 so maybe that’s why.
Lets see the draw! ❤
Wow - I found g5 😮 unreal!
What you forgot to tell us that although Deep Blue defeated Kasparov , it was Anand who defeated Deep Blue . Victory of human over computers in that era .
@7:30 rook is still hanging even if the bishop blocks , didnt get it
same im struggling too
Probably because he just blindly follows engine, so he doesn't explain such obvious to lines.
chess was so much better in the before 2000's...now its just theory nd better endgame player wins the game
I hate it when they exchange out all the pieces
Why not Qf3 at the pause the video moment? It doesn't look like white can both defend the pawn(s) and protect against checkmate after this move, at the very least you will get one of the pawns, but maybe I'm missing something...
What a game
"Something in the comments" 😊
At 9:41 why not take with the queen instead of the bishop?
Looks like Bd6 looses to Re6 rather then Rxf2?
What about a survey of the Latvian chess championship in 1954, won by Tal?
I wish he could have to trained me not to blunder the queen every time 😂
I was thinking more like Queen F3
But at 7:30 the white rook still hangs. I don´t get it.
because the pawn on d3 will not fall if the bishop is on d2
The idea is to connect with as many pieces/pawns as possible while checking the king.
Because past pawn, and an extra pawn, easy@@supercool.avinash3
I found it just by intuition
gg
7:18 but sir rook is still hanging
Anand is the Michael Jordan of Chess 💯💪🏾
means Cordoba was in business of doing kasparov dirty 😂
3rd: Which is worse: when Nikhil prank cheated Vishy in a casual simul that increased money for the charity?
Or when Garry cheated Vishy in 1995 PCA classical WCC?

@@satyam7508
Yes. So why did people react so harshly to Nikhil while no one knows about Garry?
@@nicbentulan it's all about power and fame
@@satyam7508
God bless you
@@nicbentulan Actually no one took this seriously. And this news did not gain any popularity either and mostly thinks aanad is lying
But I don't think
If you’re going to say only one last name It’s actually Illescas rather than Cordoba.
I see

Why not queen captures rook at 7:22
India ..
#suggestion As a fan of Miguel Ilescas, i can tell you nobody calls him Cordoba, ever. He was also Kramnik head coach for a long time.
It is pronounced CÓR-do-ba
PLEASE agad it's been 4 months! 2023 USCC - Atousa almost beat Carissa Yip, the eventual winner!
Carissa was losing most of the game. Atousa just blundered in the end.
It's Hikaru's WIFE vs Wesley's GIRLFRIEND.

2nd: Hans Niemann = next Bobby Fischer
- Wesley So = current Bobby Fischer
- Bobby Fischer's ghost = old Bobby Fischer
- Beth Harmon = Bobby Fischer in another universe
Each of these 4 'is a prodigy, had a rather dark childhood and is American'.
Speaking of Wesley So
Hikaru's (the rapid WFRCC) wife almost beat Wesley So's (the classical WFRCC) girlfriend!
2023 USCC - Indeed Carissa Yip won and thanked Wesley So as her secret second in the 2023 USCC closing ceremony speech.
But in Carissa vs Atousa, Carissa was losing most of the game. Atousa just blundered in the end.
move 54 for black is an 8-move equality puzzle
it's so sharp

agad youre too fast could you lower the skill cap for enjoying your videos a little bit, im 1700 and its quite irritating at times.
Greetings :)
What specifically?
@@agadmatorThanks for the reply!
Well sometimes situations or relations between pieces are skipped because theyre probably self explanatory to stronger players but I sometimes struggle
Ok, will try something in the next vid!
@@agadmator Thanks so much!

Anand is the same man who a year earlier (1995) was brutally and mercilessly crushed by the great Garry Kasparov in the title match.
how about we go back to saying "very interesting" instead of "most interesting"? @agadmator #suggestions
