Sounds like an 8 string bass, but there weren't any at the time. I'm going to say the bassist overdubbed a separate higher octave track along with the low part. The high one seems to walk down on the turnaround at the end of the chorus. Given how perfectly tight it is, that seems more likely than a guitarist playing that part along with him on a guitar. I hear two standard guitars, and two basses. Does anyone else hear that?
Gotta love those Chattahoochee 45 labels!
From the band that gave us the main track for FASTER PUSSYCAT, KILL! KILL!
Damn what is this magic that I've been missing out on?
S W....welcome to the world of REAL music!
The vocal thingies on 2:02 are definitely borrowed from Mexican mariachi there
You can't beat a bit of 60s garage
A great freaking song!
Wo awesome tune
I wish it could be 1965 again.

@FrankLincolnWright Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out!
What a sassy number. They sound a bit like the Chocolate Watchband.

I'd kill to own a hard copy of this record.
Repro copies around. Sundazed label reissue.

@Sue Pinkerton Why be such a cooze about it?
@Sue Pinkerton they did not release more than two and a half 45, so not much to chose from. 🤣
Bad news this ain't
