My recent journey from Delhi to London, with a layover in Istanbul, was an experience packed with both highlights and a few challenges. The trip began at the **Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi**, which is truly a world-class facility. The airport's array of amenities, from shopping to dining and relaxation areas, made the pre-flight time enjoyable and stress-free. The attention to detail in its design and the convenience offered to travelers set the perfect tone for the start of my long-haul journey.
The flight with Turkish Airlines was another notable part of this adventure. I must commend the airline for its comfortable seating and, most impressively, the food. Meals were thoughtfully prepared with a range of flavors that satisfied even the pickiest eater. The in-flight menu added a delightful touch to the journey, blending both international and traditional Turkish dishes.
However, not everything went smoothly. The **airline staff**, while efficient, came across as quite rude during some interactions, which was surprising and took a bit of the shine off the otherwise pleasant experience. It is something I did not expect but managed to overlook due to the other positives of the flight.
Landing at Istanbul Airport was both exciting and slightly overwhelming. The airport itself is an architectural marvel, spacious and filled with various amenities, but its sheer size and layout can be confusing. Navigating through the terminals felt a bit daunting at first, but it is hard to deny the airports elegance and the quality of services it offers.
Finally, arriving in London wrapped up the travel experience on a high note. Overall, despite the minor hiccup with the airline staff, the journey was memorable. The combination of Delhi's vibrant and modern airport, the unique touch of Turkish Airlines' cuisine, and the grand yet complex Istanbul Airport made for an adventure worth recounting.

Hello
Please reply
Did you need transit visa for Istanbul?
Can you also tell what currency you used in Istanbul airport to buy food
No, we didn't need a transit visa as we didn't leave the airport premises. I used credit cards like Neo, Amex, and Kotak, and I never needed currency anywhere.
However, the staff at Istanbul airport were a bit rude and didn't understand English very well. It is better to ask fellow tourists at the airport who are from your country for assistance.
Hello sister.
I want to know about baggage allowance. I have booked flight from Prague to Delhi via Istanbul from Indigo. From Prague to Istanbul - operated by Turkish Airlines and Istanbul to Delhi by Indigo. I have baggage allowance of 30 KG. So , I just want to know that will I have to carry 30 KG in a single pic or I can split into two pieces like 15 KG each check in bag. Please respond ASAP
@@Kumar__rahul49 So,mostly single baggage of 30kg works if it satisfies the height, length and width as per guidelines.
Also, remember that domestic airlines don't allow more than 15kg until it's a connecting flight. So, you have to pay an extra 15 kg to domestic airlines, if any.
@@lovefooddivya thank You for your response sister🙏. It means I can't carry two check in baggage. I really wanted to split the baggage allowance😢. And I am taking flight till Delhi (no any domestic connection ).
@@lovefooddivya May I know your baggage allowance and how many baggage you checked in ?
@@Kumar__rahul49 I had one medium and one hand bag. I could take 30kg but I didn't have much stuff to take.
