i literally feel anxiety when ben erases his right answers
I screamed at my phone. On the other hand, there was a quiz where J was so confidently wrong and then Ben wrote the correct answer. I whooped like Hermione did in GoF when Harry flies back on the dragon. 😂

My hunch on why Lupin can’t repair the trunk or robes is that he ruined them while transformed, and werewolf damage counts as dark magic that can’t be repaired. Akin to George’s ear

In college my motto was "guess with confidence" first thing that pops in your head go with and move on. Ben needs that advice. He changes his mind too often
There's even research on this, saying that experts on a topic often guess correctly.

I really appreciate the fact they included the quizzes under the questions.
In my mind, the reason Remus Lupin couldn’t fix his robes or suitcase was the object or cloth, after so long would stop holding the spells to fix them/ become less effective and that’s why wizards would have to buy new thing every few years
Or because he’s a werewolf and the ripped when he transformed and that counts as dark magic so it can’t be repaired
"Add E" suggested that Reparo only repairs direct damage, but not wear over time. If you're walking down Diagon Alley, and your wizard robe get's caught on something and rips, you can use the spell to repair it. But if your robe is ten years old and the cloth is just worn out, that can't be repaired by magic.
I think this makes the most sense, otherwise all objects in the Wizarding World would last forever. Preventing or reversing wear over time is the inanimate equivalent of the Philosopher's Stone, or a Time Turner. That's much more powerful than what most (if not all) wizards can do.

about question 6 and why Lupin never repaired his clothes and his other stuff: Although incredibly sad, I believe Remus never felt himself worthy enough, to repair the clothes he probably ripped during a full moon. He believes himself to be a monster and why should a monster have a working suitcase?

Ty listing those statistics off was SO depressing for his older brothers but SO entertaining for me.
So Lupin's suitcase and why he doesn't repair it... He's a werewolf, hence why most of his possessions are damaged. I have 2 thoughts.
1) He's repaired them so often they can't be repaired anymore.
2) He just doesn't care, why fix something that's going to be broken the next time he wolfs out.
And on replacing it and his shabby clothes, isn't it also the case that he isn't wealthy because he's struggled to get a job?
I feel like the Lupin not repairing his clothes and suitcase can be explained with one word: Aesthetics

I thought so too! My reasoning is that if you got the multiple choice and you would have gotten the answer then you get the point. The answer being correct shouldn't be determined by what the other person got.
Example 1: 'Band of Skeletons' is correct with the multiple choice answers being 'The Werid Sisters', 'The Hobgoblins', 'The Dancing Skeletons' and 'Spellbound'
Example 2: 'Band of Skeletons' is incorrect with the multiple choice answers being 'Skeletones', 'Band of Skeletons', 'The Skeleton Band' and 'The Dancing Skeletons'

@@kyra2805 You can set up a script to automatically click in certain places on the screen - it wouldn't be too hard to set one up that just clicks on a random youtube video then clicks dislike, and just set it running. And if there's one way to do it, there are likely many more. Why anyone would want such a program though, I have no idea.
Suggestion for Seasons of J vs B: 10 episodes. Quiz topics are chosen like this 4 - J's choice, 4 - Ben's choice, 2 (mid and final) fan choice. Season ties (5 and 5) are broken by total correct across the season, then fan vote if it is still tied.

About lupin's suitcase !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EXPLAINED
I feel like he's had that suitcase since his time as a student. Since Hermione and come to think of it Cedrick have had run ins with broken bags, it wouldn't be unreasonable to suggest that students are using "repairo" on bags quite often. (Except draco who would just call mommy for a new one)
I feel like it makes sense that repairo would get less effective each time used on the same object. Something becoming more and more worn, and so the magic becoming less effective.
Therefore, it seems Remus has been using repairo on the bag for so long that the magic has become less and less effective over time, which means now, repairo isn't enough, he also needs string.
I love this!! You guys are awesome with all these quizzes.
