As some one who has loved wearing Nike Mercurial Vapors for 10 years and since i decided to take the leap on to the Mizuno Morelia Neo Beta 3, i have never felt so comfortable without sacrificing the performance aspect. For me it's the case of once you go Mizuno there is no going back. Worth every single euro !

On the topic of players switching into new boots, I have seen that Luka Modric has not switched to the new Vapor 14's and instead has stuck with the yellow Vapor 13's this season. Having tried both boots, I can understand why Luka may prefer the softer Vapor 13's (especially before breaking in the 14's properly). I know that pro's can get their boots modified (Neymar with the disguised Hypervenom 2's) or make exceptions (Toni Kroos with his trusty 11pro's) but do you guys have any insight as to how boot contracts come into play in situations like this? As well as how companies mediate boot disputes with their players?

Why do you think football players don't get the same 'treatment' as NBA players in terms of boots. E.g, LeBron, Kobe, MJ having shoes specifically made for them whereas in football, marketable players like Ronaldo, Neymar, Mbappe only get exclusive colour ways of the same boot that anybody else could wear. Do you think we will ever get players having a hand in creating their own boot & having their name attached to that model?

I feel like that's an important point when comparing Mizuno's price to Nike and Adidas. You won't find Mizunos at your local Marshalls or Burlington stores.
Well in Japan, people loved Morelia wave. I think in Europe or America they didn’t have Morelia wave. Morelia wave was actually the base of Morelia neo. And these were overtaken by neo’s.
Regarding Nike not launching the new tiempo and phantom gt, I agree with josh but also think because they are not done yet with the final product and the marketing campaign. I’m hoping for them to take their time on creating these new models because they screwed up tiempo 8s and phantom gt and some say the merc 14s aren’t that great either so Nike plz just deliver something good
The new Tiempo 9s aesthetically look better but still not the biggest fan of them using memory foam or other kind of foam like padding under the leather. I really hope they kill the GT 2. If they can get the sizing, lockdown and soleplate down I’ll buy it.

Yes it started with Nike trying to market their undershirts so they slowly phased them out except for certain players requesting them
Also probably saves a lot of $$$ to only have to make short sleeves jerseys for most of the sales.
