I’ve been a horns fan for 35+ years. I saw the beginning of Mack brown era and his end. to me what “THE REAL DIFFERENCE” was getting rid of Greg fenves!!! he was responsible for the Charlie strong,and Tom Herman hires.. Greg fenves as an athletic director didn’t take his time and truly hire a HC to bring Texas back to the top. out goes Greg fenves in come CURRENT AD” thank god🙏🏻.” In chris del conte. Or as horns nation refers him to… CDC. anyways cdc actually took his time in a HC search he didn’t just run to the hot hand HC and hired him like previous AD.
And now we are seeing what an athletic director who truly cares about his athletic programs can do. Hire the right people who have the same passion in making your universities sports program great again. Now year 3 it’s showing tack on what our female volleyball team just did a few hours ago!
Takes that right person at the top to actually care and now we are seeing the peices aligning.

They fired Strong to early, he coached 3 years, first year got rid of most of the team. Year 2 and 3 had the youngest team in all of college football. Then they fired him. Never got to see him with a mature team. Herman was never the answer though. he wasted strongs talent and didn't replace it.

And Herman well it’s what takes me back to Greg fenves the athletic director when these two gentleman took the reins. Greg fenves just hired who ever had the hot hand. Herman is still immature and maybe needs more time to watch behind a successful HC. “Can Herman be a pretty decent HC…yes just not right now. I’ve watched a few of his games to see if he learned ANYTHING while being an analyst for…… 🤔 Vikings “not sure” but some pro team. Anyways saw a few of his FAU games and STILL he’s being his old self, calls where your scratching your head like “why that play.”
If sark can be reborn in the coaching scene so can Herman.

I've believed in Sark fron day one, not saying he didn't make it challenging at times the first 2 years, but i'm so happy that he has it rolling in Austin. I'm not just happy as a fan, but also happy cause Sark is also just a really good person. I also have a ton of respect for him being open about the adversity he's faced in his personal life.

It’s not bad, especially for a channel that isn’t purely focused on Texas Football. He got some of the main ones, but for example he didn’t list the 4* linebacker commited to A&M that has been projected to flip to Texas. That’s just an example, but nonetheless a solid episode. I’ll never like anyone saying Texas is back though (as he said in the video) it’s just media talk.

Enjoyed the vid, the Longhorns are indeed on the cusp of restocking and reloading with top H.S. recruits and transfer players from the portal. But no matter how much orange one bleeds, none of these players are going to make any difference in the CFP semi-finals on January 1. Against Penix's Huskies offense, the Horns secondary will be tested all night and will need to show some Texas Fight!

Hoping to get a rematch against Bama. I think Bama will win but making it to the Natty is a giant leap from where we've been since 2009. The Championship game is 2005 was one of the best games I've ever seen. The Michael Crabtree catch was the most heartbreaking moments I can remember as a Texas fan. In last year’s bowl game between the two Washington won and this is the same team that struggled against Houston. They also have a soft secondary so I don’t see them slowing down Washington.
