Ummmm, respectfully disagree. My great uncle Ralph built his own dobro, foot drums, and kept a washboard, spoons, and sawblade sittin' beside him. He was friends with a man named Mr. (Doug) Burns. They played weekends at Uncle Ralph's mud blacksmith shop every weekend until Mr. Burns died. I would say home on Friday and Saturday nights rather that go out wit people my own age, just to get to chord a guitar or blow a harp in the background. They did this until they were nearly 80, same energy, and drinkin' home brew with rolled up Prince Albert cigs. Uncle Ralph had this energy any time I would come sit with him. He didn't have the voice, so he wanted me to sing his blues tunes. This guy just brought back so many memories.
Very inspirational, I'm 64 and started playing, more like trying to play almost 3 years ago and when i see this type of raw talent and passion for music which I've always had "passion that is" it will keep myself banging away on my 6 string for the remainder of my precious time.
I am so glad there are people like Cam. Doing their own thing and doing it so well. Such a talent and not involved in the mainstream “music business”. His voice is like Tool meets Don McLean, the guitar tone is stupid good, the choice of effects, USING WHITE NOSE between notes as a sound of it's own, the lyrics which I never listen to.. Until now. The American Pie quality of his voice makes me want to know what he's saying. I've played pro for over 30 years and it's been a WHILE since I heard anything I could analyze only to find the artist hasn't left one thing to chance. His feet are better drummers than most I've hired. He knows good and well what he's doing every second but mostly HE HAS "IT" like no one I've heard in a while AMAZING. Thank you U-tube!
