Test Driving 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle - Fast Lane Classic Cars

I thought you'd like a look at this very clean 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, so I decided to take it out for a spin. They've done a really nice job with this one. The paint is slick and it has a ton of cool features, like the cowl hood, hood pins, chrome Cragar SS wheels, full SS Trim, striping that is under the clear, and much more. Under the hood, you'll find a very stout 350 small block crate engine, with the centerbolt style heads. They have detailed it out nicely with a chrome air cleaner, billet aluminum valve covers, painted block and heads, and coated headers. This car is ready to show or go. Great video Jeff. I love that paint job. I noticed this Chevy has the old famous Power Glide transmission. Two speeds low and high. We used to have in the family an old 69 Impala with a 350 two barrel and the Power Glide trans. The Power Glide was not bad at all.

Sweet looking car. I've always loved the 1970 Chevelle. Although I've never liked aftermarket gauges, particularly when they're below the dash, the rest of the interior is beautiful.

Yeah, it could definitely use a set of disc brakes of front.
I think they are flowmaster mufflers....you can see them at 3:05 in the video.

Chevy should bring back the Chevelle without tampering the design, similar to how Dodge keeps the Challenger's look more "classic" than most cars are and experiment with the Charger, the Camaro could be Chevy's Charger.

OMG! Put the factory SS wheels and a full dark green vinyl roof on that car, and it's my FIRST CAR when I was 17! Light Mist Green Metallic is VERY RARE! Seriously - get the wheels and tires swapped out for the right ones!

If someone wanted to make it an SS why didn't they spend the extra money to change the dash from a sweeping speedometer to the oval one like an SS. Also, does this car still have the old style drum brakes? I did not see a power booster behind the master cylinder. Other than that the car looks great, I love the color. I go to many car shows and I never see this color. Cargar SS wheels are my favorite.
Very nice 70 Chevelle that I actually think is a Chevelle 300 Deluxe model that is done up as a SS clone.I have a 70 300 Deluxe 2 door that is actually painted in the original Green Mist Metallic...I am very interested in talking to Jeff or someone if they know the location or owner of this car!! The door panels are of GREAT INTEREST to me as my car needs those panels to have the interior completed!! That's nice Malibu turn into a Chevelle Super Sport it's a Super Sport Hood not a cal Hood I have two Chevelles one of them is a true Super Sport the other one is a Malibu you got a Malibu there
