@@ClutchFirst my dealer said ride it how your gonna use it so I said SAY LESS😂 I’ve ridden dozens of bikes and get bored quickly. But I can honestly say this might one of the only bikes on earth I won’t get bored of .
Tricky question. It depends on the type of riding you’d want to do. If I only had 1 choice and base on riding, I’d pick the SP. However, if I could have two, I’d get a sportbike and 698 Mono as a second bike.
Honestly, I think this is my favorite bike out the batch. Easy going and fun with plenty of torque. I can do 135mph easy and that’s plenty for every day fun shenanigans.
As far as break in goes, every bike I've ever bought was already broken in. I'm poor folk. I can't afford to buy a new motorcycle. That actually works out fine for me, because most of the new bikes today, I wouldn't want to own anyway. I'll still ride 'em at demo days, though.
Nothing wrong with buying a use bike. As long you’re riding and having a good time, nothing else matters. Yeah man, Demo days is a good way to experience multiple bikes.
😬 You can get a hot sugar momma or a cool stripper for LADIESSSS! 😂 JK Go out there and be about your business and grind. It’s totally possible. If I can do it, you can too. Thank you for watching.
Look forward to seeing a comparison video between both hypers. Great video brother! Clever way to answer comments.
If I get a chance this weekend I’ll shoot a comparison video. I agree, it should be very interesting. Both bikes have their specific perks.
Pick mine up next week here in Canada, thanks for your coverage so far that got me through the waiting 😅
You will love it! Currently my favorite bike in the batch. Anything specific you’d like to know while you wait for yours?
Thanks for doing this. It is a beautiful bike
No problem. Any other questions you’d like me to answer in the next one?
@@ClutchFirst nope just looking forward to the hyper 950 ride comparison. Thanks for asking
Great update.. can’t wait for the comparison vid 👍🏽
It’s going to be an interesting comparison. Which would you prefer?
Great talk, we need more of this. Those wires though, definitely takes getting used to.
More to come!
Ohh Beautiful bike - def on my radar
It's currently my favorite bike out the batch. You'll love it.
I never really heard of break in period since everyone I know buys only used bikes lmao
Yeah, it pretty routine when the bike is brand new. The engine needs to be worn in and work the gearbox up and down the rpm range.
Supermoto’s are definitely fun/2nd bikes. The 698 to me is a DRZ400 with perks!
It's my favorite bike out my entire collection. If I could only have one and I wasn't interested in going 200mph, I'd buy the SUMO any day.
Hard break in ftw!!!!
I move up and down the Rev range. Going through a couple of heat cycle and just enjoying it.
What did you use to plug the mirror holes?
Wheelies and a few rev limit hit during my break in 😝 first oil change looked good.
Right on! Damn, you are going hard.

If there could only be one. Are you taking the 698 or the 950? Thats the question i've been dying for all the 698 reviewers to say

Every single day. I move more and more to wanting a supermoto 😢. I hate loving all styles of bikes. Lol

@@ClutchFirst Yeah, I definitely ride. My current bike had around 33,000 miles on it when I bought it. Now it has over 118,000 on it.
I have a question what I got to do to get one of those bikes this summer jobs taking away my lifespan

Hi, did you take it some off road?
You can do some light off roading with the Hyper 698 but I haven’t taken mine yet. Maybe after it’s been broken-in.
i still dont like the brake/speed wires over the dash 👎🏽
KTM's and Husky's have it way lower.
It’s doesn’t bother me much. It’s becoming a big topic of conversation. Maybe Ducati can figure a different solution on their next iteration.
