The gen 1 r8 is basically the gallardo just chaeper,more practical,more reliable and cheaper to maintain BUT no one is gonna look at you with a r8 the way a lambo can Unless its a 650s

I almost bought something similar a couple years ago. What prevented me though was the maintenance costs. Lamborghini, according to my research at the time, was very expensive for upkeep. It just wasn't worth it to me.

Do you know how to fix that horrible low TQ. ? Put a 68mm turbo on it. I have a ‘13 twin turbo and it’s a HUGE difference. Love the Galardo! Best driver friendly Lambo made.
Its the most reliable supercar in its time and its design blows away the supercar wannabe C8 corvette. The good news is as these vehicles came down a lot in price, a clean 2013 gallardo will be worth 150k in 10 years as EV supercars will be far more common.
Hi Joe, no doubt about it. This is one of Lambo's best efforts. I think this is based on the Audi R8. Great review and details. You do it right every time buddy!
Here’s how I envision the c8 corvette vs other cars like this Gallardo for example: People can buy a c8 for less money get same performance or similar as some supercars, or you can pay more money for a Lamborghini for example...Just like in clothing, someone can buy a sweatshirt from gap that’ll keep you warm, or you can buy a sweatshirt from LV that’ll do the same. But at the end of the day, you ultimately choose to get a Lambo or LV over a Chevy or a Gap sweatshirt because it’s cooler, flashier, more exciting, etc. if that makes sense. Yeah a c8 corvette may have great performance, but I’d rather be driving a Gallardo or 570s than a Corvette.

If it's a manual trans then its a great car to buy. But to replace the clutch in an e-gear, its a pain in the ass. You can do it yourself but the car needs to go back to Lamborghini to have the new clutch reprogrammed.

Scissor style doors that we see in the Aventador or even Falcon Doors that we see in the Model X or even the Pagani Huayra have a high cost and it's impossible to install these kinds of doors on a roadster.
Don't under estimate the high costs of ownership for those 80k cars. You could easily drop 50k over 4 years of owning a lambo. Good news is your 80k car will still be worth 70k private sale 4 years later.
Yep, the price is outrageous for that mileage and there are so many options for that price range, but who cares, you're buying a Raging Bull...you mess with it, you get the Horns....😁

Langolier I agree the LFA has a great sound. You really have to work it through to the top end of the rev range.

I actually prefer the pre LP front but the LP rear, not a fan of the final edition but I take any Gallardo over Hurrucan.
