This emotional rollercoaster of a film starts with the guys feeling like they made a huge mistake as they take on this massive challenge. A hostile environment, day fishing only and the need to use boats to fish meant this was a gruelling session. With Danny F almost at breaking point after several “disasters”, Darrell has a breakthrough and things begin to come together.

Finally the Korda Guys got rid of their paylake and syndicate addiction and came to realize how hard "real" carpfishing in public waters sometimes is! Thanks for this movie Guys, and please keep off the paylakes for future movies. This is 1000 times more valuable and enjoyful to watch than seeing those top notch Carpanglers having to show their fishing skills in a carp-brothel! Great filming and storytelling and of course great anglin! Well done!

Over the past 6+ years I've watched manny carp fishing videos, some of them were from private YT streamers, more of them from made from carp tackle realted companies. There is none greater carp spirit then Danny, no one puts that much effort, that much emotions, that much time into caro fishing and after failiures and failures his spirit is never broken and catching a 10pound common or 50 pound mirror he is still as excited as probably he was after catching his firstever carp. I bow to you sir Danny, you really are a carp spirit

Went off Korda films to be honest but this reminded me of my Morrocco trip. Loved every minute of this and to get beat up so badly the first few days Dan fished his nuts off to overcome it all. Well done all round. Epic.

It baffles me how people can dislike Danny. I’ve met him a few times once as a kid learning my trade and he gave me the time of day and once a few years back and he remembered the conversation from nearly 12 years before. He’s a top guy that loves his company, mates and fishing
Always love the Korda films and this is no exception but, I cannot ever remember being this much on the edge of my seat before. I think I stopped breathing there for a couple of minutes.

Really good video in a situation 95% of us will never be in but still enjoyable. For me it showed a some character and bollox for Dan sharing the apocalyptic list of disasters .Then getting the shock of his rod was one of the funniest 😂 fishing stories I’ve heard in years and cost me most of my porridge while watching . The trip also showed all his ups and downs too . 🎣🎣

Wow absolutely brilliant video Korda setting the standard as always one word adapting simple as that both Danny and pecky doing it there way and what there best at catching carp
Watching this 2 years after it's release but I'd like to say that it's great. It is a movie that is showing the hard time to catch carp in the wild. The paid lakes have most of the things set for success also their size can't be compared with the size of a natural lake and it makes it so much more difficult. Also all of the snags and fallen trees and people catching your rigs ruining everything for the angler. It's still harder for the regular angler I would say because not everybody has a boat so they can't scour the whole lake and find the best spots. They mostly rely on their feel for the water and whatever they can do from the bank. Great film, great fish.
Awesome film guys, and total respect, life jacket, life jackettttt. I was on a French lake last week, out of 20 or so anglers, I was the only person to put one on every single time in the boat, respect for setting the right standard guys 👍👍👍

Yeah I agree. I can understand the locals being a little pissed if it was a small secluded unknown lake. But it was nearly a thousand acres and open to the public for both fishing and water sports lol.
