Fantastic review Toys are Russ!! Skids is currently my favorite deluxe class figure of the Legacy line. I really enjoy how much he looks like the original G1 Skids figure. Keep on being amazing.
Great review. Since Skids was a last minute addition to the 84 toy line (squeezed in just in time for Christmas), he came too late for the 84 media push and he wasn’t included in the new-for-85 media push either. He’s sort of a forgotten Autobot. For this reason, I kind of want one. However, he was only featured in two brief cameo appearances in the original cartoon, so I don’t have a strong childhood attachment to him either. I definitely think that he’s cool though. He’s on my “maybe” list.
Loving most of the Legacy line but this ain't for me. My brother had G1 Skids, which is way prettier. For me though that car mode looks like a 'Minecraft' version of the Honda Turbo. Still, the masterpiece Skids is a stunner. Just hope they don't reuse the mould for Crankcase.
Need to get a few others before him but do want him hell birthday coming so see how money is really is a great figure wish the axe was orange give it to optimus he need help with that cheap trailer he has lol

so far I dub him the sleeper hit of the line. Never owned the g1 or any other skids so a very welcome addition.

He’s not bad; I like both modes and it’s a great homage but mine has some tolerance issues when I’m transforming him.
First time I transformed him everything was fine. Next couple, the roof wouldn’t fully clip back in. Now he’s fine again.
