    Snap On over-rated = No
    Snap On over-priced= Yes, at least on some things.
    I'll pay whatever price for snap on ratchets because I believe you can't beat 'em.
    A tool box has never fixed a damn thing.
    Proudly rocking my US General 72" filled with quality tools.
    Love your videos brother.

    You may think you are stupid for turning wrenches I did it for over 40 plus years and enjoy it for the most part. I never owned a snap on tool box but owned plenty of their tools. Just buy what you can afford and move up when it possible. Keep on wrenching 🔧🔧👍👍👍

    I enjoy my snap on box and tools, i will buy more in the future, yes there are expensive, but all the pro grade stuff is, snap on is my flavor of choice, i don't care about being a overdramatic cheap skate, i would rather spend a little more and put money back into America instead of in China, 🇺🇲 go snap on!

      Don't get me wrong I love my Snap on stuff. I really enjoy thier products to a point , somethings I can't justify dropping the coin on . Great tools though

    I didn’t my epic either but I wanted and could afford it so I bought it I do think that snap on is better quality than most other brands on a lot of their tools not all of them and definitely overpriced but like you said spend your money how you want to

      At the end of the sentence like any other choice if you can afford it and that's what you want go for it .I absolutely love my box . I do like my Snap on stuff but like anything with buying something that helps make you money do your home work on any brand . Thanks for the comment and hope all is well.

    When deciding whether to buy a snapon tool, I always think,'Does the 10% to 20% increase in quality justify the 5X price?'

    • @classiclinesautomotive
      @classiclinesautomotive  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's the big factor and I also am at the point where I look at how many snap on tools I have broke .recently I feel like thier quality is slipping

      SnapOn is competitive if you don’t pay full retail.

    Snap on is in most cases the best tool available they are slipping in inovation can you afford the best or do you buy what gets the job done you can get proto sockets and wright/martin wrenches for peanuts compared to snap on

    • @classiclinesautomotive
      @classiclinesautomotive  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think there are other tool companies coming out with new products that may make life easier and are more innovative , how ever what I know is the price for tools off the truck is getting out of hand and that's my biggest issue. I get inflation , however I do believe snap on needs to stop looking out for corporate pockets and think about the blue collar men and women that use thier tools . It will never happen but it is what it is . I can't see spending 450 on a set of metric wrenches 10 to 19

    My buddy had a snap on box in the eighties a tall beautiful red chrome box. It was in between bays and the tech on the lift next bay backed into it with his butt and all the drawers opened up on those smooth ball bearing quality drawers glides and the whole thing fell over. Ok ok they changed the design since then but I remember the typical snap on hype that it was the best box and nobody could top it. Total crap. So then I own lots of snap on stuff. And the other day I tried to warranty a tap and a spring for my air hammer. Neither one is supported anymore I’m out of luck. Then he tried to sell me the new impact air hammer saying it’s the hardest hitting hammer. I informed him yeah already got that and it’s not supported. Then I mentioned the Tekton ratchet on torque test channel matched the snap on. He proceeded to tell me yeah but its longevity is where it counts. I reminded him how my old snap on stuff isn’t supported and so that’s a lie. Great tools overhyped and overpriced. Sorry snap off fans.
