We all gotta start somewhere. Nothing wrong with the Icon box in my opinion.
It's not the tool box that figures in on making repairs but the tools in the box. Better to have an Icon tool box full of Snap on, Mac, Matco than a Snap on tool box full of Pittsburgh.
Just remove the logo and put a snap on one on.
No way the tech that owns that box with those tools is an "apprentice". Nice box with a good variety and a large investment.
Great setup he has, and the Icon looks like it stores tools just fine for him 💯
I got a kick out of you going through this guys stuff and trying to piece together his work flow. More “guest” tool box tours please
For now maybe most pros don’t use Icon but in 30 years from now Icon will be changing a lot. There was a time where only white pple played for the dodgers, but looked how that changed now! Great video I’m inspired by your variety!
Jackie Robinson is a Hall of Famer, HarborBate is a meme company
@@MrCar-Worker there was a time when Jackie Robinson was thought to be bate as well but look what he did. They wanted him to quit, just like you want harbor freight out of the tool industry. It’s ok
@@MrCar-Workerthey’re a branding & distribution company, legit manufacturers like Hifive, Kabo, Mayhew, Infar make their tools.
I used a harbor freight cart for probably 10 years and the casters were a little rough, but with what I put that cheap thing through I wouldn't hesitate to buy an icon box if they made them deeper
5:03 alarm did not phase you guys for two whole minutes. Must be married to tune that out 😂
I stopped worrying about 24 and 30 next will be some other depth. Icon box is great and if i need to add extra storage i dont take out a mortgage. As far as box trucks only a handful of things are worth it. Im 44 and if i could go back i would have saved a ton of money and spent it on other things. A box is a box, holds tools and locks all i need. There is far better boxes than snap on out there and far worse as well find a middle of the road box like an icon and dont look back.
Tool Vault makes a 30 deep for probably a little more than the Icon.
Nice toolbox review but honestly I’m kind of confused on why having someone else that doesn’t own the box go through it and explain everything that’s in it honestly, it’s kind of disappointing. There’s no story behind it. There’s no understanding of how that technician works how he operates on a daily basis, utilizing that box.
🔧✌️🔧
It’s not the box that makes the mechanic. Nor the tools.
Brand of your toolbox and your tools doesn't mean a thing. Can you solve the problem? Can you fix what needs to be fixed? That's all that matters. You can have every tool Snap-On ever made, if you can't fix the problem all those tools are worthless.
Masters 30" ??? I thought they are 29"
29 1/8 actually
@@TheTate182 definitely not 30 though as stated in the vid
@@Nworddropper that’s true but it’s not like it’s a giant difference lol
@@TheTate182 they also incorrectly stated the icon is 24" when it is 25"
300$ zip tie drawer. Huh
