Me too! I love this. Intentional ASMR does nothing for me. Watching someone perform a task that requires a great deal of attention gets me every time. As long as they don't talk!
Thank you for posting this! I am only months into making lace and this has really helped me sort out how to work with a bolster instead of a cookie which feels more natural to me. Great video!
Beautiful work! Thank you for posting this! I learned on a cookie pillow, and I'm trying to figure out the logistics of a bolster. Your use of side pins to hold the bobbins makes a lot of sense.
victoriaeagle I knit and crochet so I watched a tutorial on this and it seemed simple but it’s still a lot of work! I’m glad people are keeping this skill going.
@@jessicabriner-devore1147 I've seen this lace making first time when was about 10 years old and I new I had to learn it. It is a very intricate craft but so relaxing! Like in knitting it only has 2 main moves and like stitches in knitting the more bobbins you have the more elaborate it gets.
LeAwesomeGuy000 this turned out 2m30cm long. It took me just over 3 months to complete, but I was not in a rush 2.bp.blogspot.com/-LUWwPorxOS8/U6ntDCvr_6I/AAAAAAAAHtE/NlVB-FaLSsg/s1600/WP_20140624_007.jpg
The effort that goes into these delicate pieces is amazing! This looks so beautiful and such a relaxing video to watch too!
I need a video exactly like this, but about 3 times as long for nights when my anxiety and insomnia are acting up
put it on continuois repeat :)
+victoriaeagle How do you do that?
I am not sure. I know that it is possible to set repeat in a playlist. So I guess you can add video to playlist
Right click on play triangle/pause button at bottom of screen. On the drop down menu, click "Loop" and see if that works for ya.

This is great for me. The sound is nice and not too clinky. Also keeps my eyes busy like reading a book.
I'm so glad this is a thing. I saw a video of someone making lace on Facebook and got super relaxed. TH-cam never lets me down. Ok, Goodnight 😪

I liked this I was watching it at night cause I could not sleep it helped and I subscribed keep up with the good work
This is great ASMR, if you rebranded your videos and tagged them with ASMR, you'd get way more views
Great video!!
I had to google what ASMR is. I see your point!
Yep! So true. I saw someone doing this on tiktok and had to google for more but not much is labeled asmr. It sounds so nice tho

I used to continental bobin lace making style. Tried cookie pillow - couldn't get my hands use to different position :)
I love the sounds of the bobbins knocking together ❤🥰
This is so mesmerizing. It looks so complicated.
Thank you. It is actually very easy once you know how :)

is so soothing. I love all the little clinky noises (I just wish it was like, half an hour long)
I think it is possible to loop the video. If you right-click on the video itself loop option can be found in pop-up menu
Wow, what a great skill you have. Very pretty lace you are making.
Thank you :)
such a beautiful masterpiece ❤️❤️ may I know if you sell this, how much does it cost?
I suppose I could sell them, but it takes an hour to weave 10cm/4" of this particular one.
How long does it take to finish one? It looks like it take hecka long😅

What stitches are you using?
I also work lace.
To be honest, no Idea. Whichever seems appropriate.
Beautiful work. Where did you get the pricking/pattern from?
Thi one is from patronsroka.com/
I never knew this was how you make lace
Machines probably do it differently ;)
