certainly is interesting to hear it with strings after getting used to it without them. not really sure if i like them or not, but i do agree with luiz on the tape echo over the end; would have been much nicer (if more plain) with reverb. i’d love to hear this this recording in better quality, lord knows it’s probably rotting in a tape bin somewhere
The orchestral bit was added later but it did not really blend well with what was already a perfect song. The echo effect at the very end spoiled the whole thing.
To each their own, I guess. The band and orchestra mix blew me away in the theater. I was disappointed to discover that the soundtrack album only had a stripped down version.
I really wish that the orchestrated version was on the soundtrack album.

It really needs a remaster. Especially these closing credits. I'm surprised the orchestral version wasn't released as an audio recording.
