    This presentation was spot on except when it came to dropping in the window glass. I will explain in a little bit. My ssue was not the drivers side window reguilator but the one on the front passenger side door . In my situation, the window regulator failed so I could not raise or lower the window to position the two attachment bolts at the round access portals so that I could dis-attach the window glass from the window regulator. In order to dis-attach the window glass from the window regulator I had to remove the five riets that held the window regulator cross-members to the metal mounting plate.
    Now about dropping in the window glass. The mechanic said to lower the regulator all the way down and then drop in the window glass. My advice to you is to not do that. Chances are, you will be ripping out everything later to get to the window glass that had dropped out of sight to the door bottom. By doing it this way you will be dropping in the glass blindly with no idea whether or not the bottom of the window glass has found the mounting guides. In order to mount the window glass properly, you will first need to raise the mounting guides with the window switch so that the guides appear in front of round access portals. Visible now, you can now carefully drop in the window glass and using your hand, guide the window glass into the mounting guides . You can know tighten the two securing bolts.

    This video is great. I just did the passenger side on my 2012 C 300. I think I should add a really important part. When completed, the lock function did not work from the car switches. I started to chase down a blown fuse but while doing this, I decided to try the key fob. Lock and unlock both worked so I realized that I could not have any blown fuse so I decide to put things back together. After assembly, the passenger side power window would not go up automatically. I had to hold the door switch. When it got to the closed position, it came back down slightly so I had to hold the switch in the up position again. The most important part to mention is that after fully assembling, you have to drive the car for a short distance to allow the vehicle computer to relearn all the features. This is very important. Also, I used two #8 screws to keep the assembly in place so that I did not have to keep drilling out rivets and replacing.

      Driving after you're done with the install is a critical step!!!!! I thought the door lock was jammed up, but all you have to do is drive around the block and all is as good as new

    Great video. You guys made my job a lot easier. I only had to run out to the store for the torx 15 screwdriver.
    We followed it and it worked like a charm, except when I bring the window up all the way, it comes down a bit by itself once it reaches the top. How do i adjust this?

    How do you remove the driver's door on a W204? Do you have a video for that?
    I am particularly interested to understand where to disconnect the electrical cables. Is it done from the inside of the door or should it be done from the footwell inside the car?

    The riveter is unavailable on amazon. Would you have another link? And how about the rivets? Did you use mercedes ones, or generic?

      You can purchase a similar large riveter at Harbor Freight. Works great.
