You know when I saw raptor just dominate that guy off the elephant I was like Oh this a funny op their doing. Then all hell broke lose and I saw people get left behind as they were turned to fucking atoms by a split lip super laser. Overall still funny op 10/10
Those pelicans going up in flames when taking off, that last pelican arriving to save some of the Marines with one of them attempting to force his way on but to fall off during take were such cinematic moments lol
Halo should really have a game that goes into the last moments on a glassed planet during the war sometime. Maybe as a Spartan but preferably an ODST or regular Marine. It's just such a hopeless situation - despite the typical Arma jank and multiplayer shenanigans this was still surprisingly emotional, it would be awesome to see what they could do with a real game set around that scenario.
Just wanna say I love the little intros you've started doing more often where you explain the operation. Helps the video feel coherent. I'm a new fan and really look forward to seeing more fun vids! :D
3:08 fun fact, that prompt was also in Halo 3 (whatever halo game the elephant was in) for if you flipped it over. I’m not sure if it’s word for word, but I like the attention to detail. P.S. also, love the fact that you can hear someone faintly in the background telling everyone to not flip it.
That last extract was a legendary but sad last ride out of hell, the ODST Squad does a quick landing and everyone rushes to the Pelican to try and get on board. As the pelican gets full, one marine tries to jump aboard the ramp just to fall out the back as the Pelican lifts off and starts getting the hell out of there. You see the marines that were left behind start firing at the Pelican in desperation, all the while the marines and ODST cheer and celebrate at how they are leaving that hell and the other Pelican is seen hovering in the background watching it all go down. Then you see the glow directly where those left behind marines are and everyone watches as the covenant glassing commences and kill everyone below. Now that is the kind of extract I enjoy, the last ditch effort to get away in time before annihilation.
Just wanted to say that I got ArmA because of you and Ignis Corp and I’m absolutely loving it. I hope one day once I’ve gotten better I might even be able to join Ignis.
