Dude have you tried sitting on a steel floor?
Do you have _any_ idea how uncomfortable that is for your butt cheeks?
I know, right?!
Blame arma not allowing people to stand in a moving air vehicle and still survive
the last pelican risking itself by swooping in last second was actually heroic
Tell that to the guys it left behind

I managed to steal that last seat by sidestepping 3 people who were arguing who had the better reason to get on board. I regret nothing.

Rubix ordering his boys to charge the enemy and then ditching them as soon as a Pelican was ready is the most Ciaphas Cain power move I've seen all week
Ci-Ci-Ciaphas Caine~ Coward of the Imperium~
Only for the pelican to have actually been hijacked by enemies trying to flank Ciaphas/Rubix's men!
Does that make Tails Jurgen?
@@atanaspetkov580 So in a panic, he shoots at the pilot, but miss. However, it messes up the controls, so the pelican takes off and crash into a wraith that was just pulling up at the gates

This man pulled a hyper lethal bullshit
@@CrazyDutchguys NO THAT'S A DEATH WISH

"Do not open that door"
"Every man for himself"
pretty standard for Ignis XD
That battle at the airfield was awesome, especially showing the last pelican leaving
mean if that door was opened everyone inside would've died within seconds at the time, so Yes I Agree with the sentiment Keep door Shut!
Hey is any man for himself situation you cannot deny that 🤣
that was so sad seeing those pelicans blow up, it was like a cut scene in the actual halo games just a pelican full of people going down in a blaze plus the one trying to leave just going down lol that last one especially gott me good
it reminded me of the ships filled with civilians trying to get out of that city in the Reach campaign which get blown up before they could manage to escape
like in a movie you dont mind it but when its a bunch of people trying to jump on its kinda sad
Reminds me of the end Halo of Legends Homecoming.
@@matthewsavino7845 dont remind me!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
- Fox actual, should we send search and rescue birds?
- Negative, dispatch... No point.
I very much Regret not leaving on the Pelicans, but I stayed to the end Medicing others. I consider that a worthy sacrifice, many people I helped managed to escape
God bless. Your name will be bigger than others on the memorial.
Here have this: 🎖️
Fucking legend
We love you.
They should have had an extra seat for the size your iron balls because Holy crap is that heroic.
Dude Elephants in Arma is by far the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
They look cool and have serious firepower but they drive like a soapbar. I was the driver of the second elephant in that op. And no i didn't get of the Planet, nobody in my squad did :(
@@brexo3274 (F)x(your squad)
I like that they used the actual Halo 3 easter egg text for flipping the Elephant
Yeah I was thinking of that prompt before it appeared in the video!
6:07 That ODST was probably part of the group that got attacked at the beginning. Poor guys probably been on OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE since the start.
We had two odst squads pinned downed since the very beginning, and one of the objectives was to rescue them
You should definitely go look up solo wing cypher and watch his video of it. You're pretty much spot-on
@@Scorch052 I did, and might I say: HOLY FUCK the brass Cypher packin. Also, Beans got glassed :(
@@IlDarunero Judging from Cyphers video, I don't think those rescue missions where entirely successful.
@@elementalgamer0732 yeh my squad got to one and an odst stood up and went we are saved and got shot in the head
This was an insane op, made by the loving hands of one of the mod developers. I can't tell if the 35% of people surviving this op is above or below the Ignis average. Probably above.
Just a smidgen below average. Which is better than... Some ops. *coughcoughProvinscough* On the bright side you saved a fortune on rations.
We were just constructed in a superior and alternative manner.
@@chaosinc.382 Provins was a dark day, and exception :(
Where is my Invitation to the Fight ? Like Seriously, How do I join you guys?
Do you mind linking the map you used? I can't find it on the workshop
The last pelican extract was actually really cool cause they got out of there on time
This was such a hilarious clusterfuck of an op.

...Six? Is that you?
That cave isn’t a natural formation, is it? Someone built it?
Unacceptable!
Absolutely unacceptable!
I love the fact that as soon as the extract launched the glassing of the air field began, a true halo, arse clenching moment
I love the last pelican marines. They lift off and see the beam all of them are celebrating and cheering. The rush wears off and they suddenly switch to mourning the marines that didn't make it on board
The important thing is that all us ODST made it out (at least I believe that we all made it out).
i didn't make it, the ODST at the hatch right befor it take of was me, i saw the beam coming down right over us XD
8:06 "At this rate the civilians will need help from the covenant against us."
I feel like this is the one sentence that is absolutly true whenever you play a HALO mod.
9:44 anyone else get chills and nostalgia when it started to go widescreen
10:00 The guy who jumped into the pelican only to fall/glitch through the bottom was TRAGIC
"Are you here to save us?"
* Manic cackling *
"First glassing? mine too..."
Edit i love the classic halo 3 flip text on the Elephant, obviously bungie didnt play arma 3 in 2007
Arma 3 in 2007?
Oh man Buck
You know when I saw raptor just dominate that guy off the elephant I was like Oh this a funny op their doing. Then all hell broke lose and I saw people get left behind as they were turned to fucking atoms by a split lip super laser. Overall still funny op 10/10
4:26 was the most absolute and pure unadulterated form of Chaos Arma had shown.
That ending was just so brutal. It was beautiful the way the momentum changed from hilarious Arma3 shinanigans to proper halo cutscene dramatics. Truly epic
8:11
Marine: “I only have a pistol”
Jay : “rush the elites!!”
Honestly this is one of the most lore accurate depictions of regular soldiers in Halo I've seen.
That last Pelicam scene was amazing. The music fit so goddamn well!
I can totally use the “I’m fine” meme to relate to this video. Marine just laying on the ground with fire everywhere
That last marine desperately clinging onto the doors of the pelican but sliding off anyway was such a sad moment.
But funny as hell tho
The fact the ODST laughed at you😂
Also where do I sign up, this looks fun
You can't sign up rn they are full, but now and then they have a thing were you can join up
i love that Reach feeling
“This isn’t a spacecraft!” They must’ve never played forge on sandtrap. very accurate mod
That last pelican pilot was a literal Saint. It's a damn shame he couldn't take them all.
The ODSTs laughter was on point for a UNSC withdrawal from the covenant
Those pelicans going up in flames when taking off, that last pelican arriving to save some of the Marines with one of them attempting to force his way on but to fall off during take were such cinematic moments lol
9:44 that scramble for the last Pelican was just Hilarious
Reminds me of public bus so you dont have to stand during the ride
I like how he asked if the ODST was there to save him after mentioning at 1:03 that he overheard the squad being killed
Halo should really have a game that goes into the last moments on a glassed planet during the war sometime. Maybe as a Spartan but preferably an ODST or regular Marine. It's just such a hopeless situation - despite the typical Arma jank and multiplayer shenanigans this was still surprisingly emotional, it would be awesome to see what they could do with a real game set around that scenario.
The game is called halo reach
@@spazemfathemcazemmeleggymi272 Halo reach is you from the perspective of noble team, more specifically noble 6,which is a spartan

That last Pelican dropping in and risking it all to save the troops on the ground was a real hero
The few dislikes are from the ones that got left behind on the ground. 💀
well not me xD, we all gonna make it sooner or later
Some of the shots from this op were amazing, that pelican swooping in at the end to save people from the glassing was amazing
Can we have the full vod? This looks so cool and I'd love to see all of it.
That moment when you realize that the music played when he says the statement was accurate at 3:50 is called Mad Visions
Pretty sure that’s “Trouble’s Coming”
its Trouble's coming
0:01 when you forget your PT belt
9:30 It was also true to the story
watching this then cypher's pov of the last pelican really makes it
that last extraction though
The halo videos you do are pretty awesome, all the panic of a real covenant glassing in the convenience of your pc.
Oooh man this one was great, especially the ending. Hope to see more like this, keep up the great work!
That was the most accurate halo op I've seen yet, holy cantaloupe. Keep it going I loved it!
There's just that one guy that takes control of the Pelican
The people in the back realize it's his first time flying.
3:08 fun fact, that prompt was also in Halo 3 (whatever halo game the elephant was in) for if you flipped it over. I’m not sure if it’s word for word, but I like the attention to detail.
P.S. also, love the fact that you can hear someone faintly in the background telling everyone to not flip it.
" TERRY IS DEAD, TAILS! "
RIP Terry. He couldn't throw it in reverse.
Seeing those pelicans take off then immediately get shot in the air was heart wrenching.
Just wanna say I love the little intros you've started doing more often where you explain the operation. Helps the video feel coherent. I'm a new fan and really look forward to seeing more fun vids! :D
For all the laughter and banter, that ending was actually pretty sad, but so cinematic.
The last minute Pelican rescue is why I keep coming back to this video. One of Ignis's most cinematic moments imo
get that last pelican pilot a raise
Meanwhile on the ground, as the Covenant glass the airbase:
"This is it baby...Hold Me."
@4:57 a books accurate depiction of Covenant ordnance exploding every cell in your body simultaneously
Poor man that tried jumping on the pelican when it was full at the end
3:02 I love this. You are awesome RubixRaptor your content is truly one of a kind :).
Thanks to that brave pilot Jay lived to see his family another day! :D
6:05 right after the ODST moment, is the most cinematic shot!
Reminds me of the afghan pullout, my sides when the bloke tried to climb in when it was full tho.
**Wilhelm scream**
I have flown one of those pelicans before, how the HELL did he land that one so smoothly?!?!
Hey rubixraptor I love your videos and keep up the awesome work bro and plus my favorite part of the vid was when you tried to flip the elephant
I like the use of “I feel trouble coming” right after someone says “I feel safe”
"Are you here to save us?"
*laughs in Mudahar*
That was one hell of an ending. Any other shooter game, that last extract would've been a scripted event.
5:45 plays out just like a cod campaign where u have to suppress enemies with a big gun cool asf
3:09 That's actually the subtitle prompt from Halo 3 in MCC if you spawn an Elephant upside down
The whole airport was glassed.
-Nah, they probably fine! Th-They alright…
9:39 the fucking runescape noise gets me
The best example of being Glassed I have EVER seen.
2:13 I half-expected this guy to abruptly snap into a prone position holding onto this cable and dragging along the ground - what else could it be for? Forget Steam sales, take my money now!
Just wanted to say that I got ArmA because of you and Ignis Corp and I’m absolutely loving it. I hope one day once I’ve gotten better I might even be able to join Ignis.
Using Tf2 death screams would be amazing if that was the next stage. And you even have mechanical versions to use!
That said, a banger of an op.
That airfield extraction was a tragedy. Except that last pelican that was epic
I love this so much xD So intense!
Wish I could play with this crew of merry people ^_^
Half life sound effect are all the rage nowadays
8:48 *Afghanistan 2021 colorized*
This is one of your best arma video yet. I love how much your channel is growing and I hope you are doing good as well. Also Elephants look sick af.
I didn't think I'd get to see the Human-Covenant War condensed into 10 odd minutes.
The "this is the final episode" has be bawling.
That was so cool, and really makes me want something like that in an actual halo game :')
I just found this channel and I am loving the content, found pure gold!
You deserve way more subs
the evac at the end is pretty much every tragic halo story some ships escape and others helplessly watch their friends and family die as their evac ship gets bombarded and destroyed right in front of them
10:27 *BRO I HAVE PTSD*
2:49 For a brick, it flew pretty good.
I love all the work you put into your videos!! They look so damn good
6:04 .. every imperial guard soldier when seeing a space marine entering the field.. plus marine reaction
6:09 I'd like to take "Things you never want to hear when you ask 'Are you here to save us', Alex".
The banter is giving me _Red vs. Blue_ flashbacks.
