It could’ve been a hundred dollar dlc and everyone would have bought it. I don’t think we’ll ever get it though, rockstar’s moved on from red dead 2 so unless it’s involved in rdr3 it’s never happening
My personal headcanon is that the night before the Blackwater heist, Dutch had found himself in a tavern for a shot of liquid courage before the big day, and had gotten a bit more tipsy than he'd expected, and that night he had met the Strange Man thinking it was Trelawny, and the Strange Man is who pushed him in the direction to make the choices he wound up making.
@@StrangeManChannel A darker version of the "Lenny!" scene in RDR2. Everyone's going on and on about the Blackwater Masacre. But, honestly, the entire game is filled with more masacres. Pretty much every climactic mission in RDR2 involves some kind of massacre in a town at the end.
Between Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes, St. Dennis, Guarma, and Annesburgh...the entire map should have an invisible sniper at that rate. Arthur's bounty is supposedly $5k when he takes Jack fishing...imagine what it is by the time he goes to get Abigail from Milton.

Idk if anyone has noticed this but I’m replaying undead nightmare & the girl that gives you the torch mentions a Mr. Braithwaite coming back from the dead & eating animals despite him loving animals, thought it was an interesting connection, not sure which Braithwaite it would be though
It's not impossible for that journal entry to be about the strange man, but seeing as they run into Trelawny not long after that point in the game, and Trelawny says he heard about everything that happened in Blackwater it could also just be Trelawny
There's a train station there and a bank, the buildings u see that are in construction in the epilogue are complete in the first game, maybe that's why haha
Relativity plays a role. If memory serves (and keep in mind, this is just me talking from memory), I think in RD1 it might have been the biggest town, save maybe one in Mexico. If nothing else, it certainly was the biggest spot of the final third of the map. In RD2, though, it's smaller than St. Denis by a long shot, and probably not that much bigger than some of the other newer towns as well, so it'll seem that much smaller.
