Thank you for these videos. Got a 2003 di with also a rebuilt engine, and lost compression in 1 cylinder. Need to determine what the problem is, this is gold.
My first question is why would someone fix a 20 year old DI? I seen these 951's hangrenade when still under warranty. even the 951 limited carb motor. Seadoo had and has to be differant when all other companys went large on 2 stk they went 3 cylinder to keep from slinging such a large bore piston. And usaly when a customer says new or rebuilt they usaly mean from short life technology. Thank you bombardier you have made me a good living for 35 years.
Hi I have a question maybe you could help me and answering I have a 2002 Sea-Doo GTX bombardier di It was running good but now when I put it in the lake and builds pressure and it stalls and I’m not shooting water out of my pilot hole as I used to before any recommendations
I have a 2001 rxdi, 52 hours, I took out the fuel pump to replace the filters and when I put it back it won't start like before also the pump when priming does not sound like before it won't start now but when I put a little starting fuel in the cylinders it does then dies
The same pump I just replaced the air filters and put it back, I was thinking it could be air in the system cause no gas seems to go into the injectors and when I disconnect the main fuel line that has the fuel filter it skirts gas
I have a 2001 sea doo gtx di starts fine but bogs and maintenance light comes on. Hadn’t shut off but now it turned off turns back on but I feel like it’s in limp mode. Thanks for the videos hope you can help
I have an 01 rx di that had fuel bleeding out between the injectors and the rail. I replaced the o rings, air pressure regulator, fuel pressure regulator, and even the rail itself. Turns out my issue was just a clogged return line.
Hey man, working on a ex-basket case 01 GTX DI. PO threw in a SBT engine, and had all the lines backwards. I think we have it straightened out, but the ski is not getting any fuel. Spark plugs out, cylinders are dry (besides fogging oil because I haven’t 100% confirmed the oil lines are connected correctly). Pulled off the rail and it is injecting through the upper set of injectors, but it’s not getting past the DI injectors. I was under the impression that if the spark plugs were out it would still throw fuel because it isn’t fighting the compression of the engine. Any tips?
I would think the air injectors have to open to let any fuel past, I never had that problem. However you need to make sure you have 80 psi air at the fuel rail as I show you in my videos.
@@crankshaftandco gotcha, I was under the impression though that no matter the air pressure in the rail it would fire the injectors because there is no cylinder pressure to overcome. Are there 2 separate firing injectors on these? Also have you ever had a clogged injector? The fuel in the rail was disgusting. Had to be sitting for a very long time on the injectors.
@@crankshaftandco iam trying to replace all of the rubber seals on the direct fuel injection system but can't seem to find them harbor freight don't exactly match maybe auto parts?
Hello, I make these up on request. I offer both fittings used to troubleshoot the air system sown in this video. I also offer a fuel pressure test rig also shown in that video. See video and my marketplace ad. Thank you. facebook.com/marketplace/item/455616279563645/
Ok, see my ad in Marketplace, there are three different items. Just message me with what you want. Thanks facebook.com/marketplace/item/455616279563645/

Thank you for the vid. Dealing with a PITA GTX Di right now that wont start. Just bought your pressure gauge adapter!

Well said!
What should the psi be for fuel on the water at idle and opening throttle. Mine is stumbling.

mine does the same thing. did you ever get it figured out?
Sorry, I just saw this. If you are still having problems, email me ajp25564@gmail.com.
Link for o ring?
Could you address gas running out of the overflow and gas getting into the water

Where can I get the t fitting you used to check air pressure at the fuel rail

Yes the fuel injectors sit right on top of the air injectors. Never had clogging they have filters inside
What size orings are those please
On the air side it is a #7, which is 1/2 OD, 3/8 ID, 1/16 wall.

@@ralphzavala8757 unfortunately they use some metric sizes. I have had to buy from industrialsuppliers like applied Industrial or McMaster Carr.
