This might sound weird but watching people brush their hair seems so relaxing 😌
🤣 I know exactly what you mean!
Lol with that background music too ☺
If youre into it, watch ASMR hair brushing videos. Its a very common trigger so dont feel strange
😁
It's called "hair porn" lol! seriously though...

A lotta people may not knw this, but if use leave in conditioner&wrap ur hair then ur favorite oil, brush ur wrap once again,it will b beautiful in the morning

That's one of the 1st things I noticed..never seen anything like it!! @ Emery Pride
I am going back to relaxed hair after 6 years and you just earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep the videos coming. This was very helpful.
Thank for subscribing and welcome back to relaxed life ☺️
Me too!!!
I think I'm going to as well.
I did the same after 6 yrs a few days ago. So far I'm loving it
Same!
You have such beautiful and gentle natured eyes.
Thank you 💜
@@HealthyHairJunkie You're welcome
Very nice and kind description.
Just relaxed my hair after years of being natural. Your drying technique worked for me!😁
I'm so glad! xx
Very informative, well spoken and straight to the point without any acting as I have seen on youtube videos. Great work. I had having excessive shedding about a year ago. I have fine hair about your length. I have learned over the past 6months how to take care of it at home by watching you tube videos like this one. I was able to stretch for 3 months, air dry, avoid heat and care for my hair by myself at home. Shedding is reduced by 80%.I now to salons every 10-12 weeks.
Thank you! It’s sounds like you’ve had a great start to your hair journey 🙌🏾
Omg.... I am hoping to have the same success!
I don’t even have relaxed hair but I like watching these types of videos
haha same
lol sme
I just recently started my healthy hair care journey and your air drying technique has been a game changer for me! Thank you so much for sharing this!!! AMAZING!!
I love air drying. My hair is more healthy. Less heat has made a difference.
🙌🏾
I blow dry it with the fan. I sit in front the fan and comb as it blows and dry it's like air drying but faster it's like blow drying but without heat
Me 2..,,MY HAIR IS HEALTHIER N FULLER✔💯❤💜💛
AMEN AMEN AMEN..ME 2💯💯💯💯
Same here I only blow dry my hair when I go to my hairdresser
I'm considering getting a relaxer and I've been debating it for a while, but seeing how you combed through your hair so easily SOLD me.
😂😂 it’s not always like that, when that new growth starts coming through it’s another story!
everyone has different hair though. What ever you choose I hope it turns out well for you.
I’m so glad I found this video ! My hair came out so good ! I’ve watched so many air dry videos and they never walk you thru it like you did. Thanks!
Lovely! I'm relaxing my hair tomorrow after 6 years of being natural and I plan on following your channel. New subster! 💜💕💜💕
Thanks for subscribing 💕
I’ve been natural my whole life and I want to go relaxed soon. (complicated health related things with natural) And I want to minimize as much heat usage as possible so I’ll for sure be using this routine😁
Video idea. How to grow/ keep relaxed hair healthy. Also maybe things they don't tell you about relaxing your hair.
Thanks, I'll add those to the list x
Wow you don’t mess around with the moisture, those products look great 🔥✊🏾
You’re my new relaxed hair fav ❣️
That's so sweet, thank you! 💜
I am textlaxed and it’s the best decision ever ! I still have the volume in my hair , it’s not thin at all
What Texlax product do you use?
I'd love to know too please x
I'm newly relaxed ( 2 months) and this was a really informative and helpful video.
Thanks, I'm glad you found it helpful 💜
I think this only works out great when you have a fresh relaxer.... new growth is not trying to hear this🤣🤣🤣 I know! I’m relaxed... but I’ll definitely be doing this with the fresh-lax... thanks for sharing luv!!!❤️❤️❤️
I use the same technique throughout my relaxer stretch and I find it works just as well just with a little more texture! I have another video airdrying 2 months post relaxer too xx
I wish I found you much sooner!!! Your routines make me so motivated to fix my relaxed hair, thank you so much💕💗💖💓💞💝💘
My hair was always a frizzy mess if it wasn’t blow dried and flat ironed. Your hair looks beautiful.
You don't know how much you have help me with this video. I tried it and it was awesome thanks
I be scared to comb through my wet hair. Feels like I cause a lot of breakage doing so but Im glad to know its even possible to air dry that straight 😩ill have to try ur method
Hali Prentice same but if you use a big tooth comb the one for detangling and be gentle... also use leave in detangling products it should be ok
Brushing it while damp can also cause a lot of damage
I would think that a blow dryer is more damaging
You should wait until it’s dry!

What a lovely comment, thank you! I hope you found the video helpful 💕
Ive been struggling with trying to figure out what to do with my hair for a super long time. I want it to be healthier so I thought my only option would be to go natural but I just like the way I look with relaxed hair way more. I think I need to just put more effort into taking care of my relaxed hair
💯💯💯💯💯
I never air dry. I always roller set. Everytime I try to air dry it looks like I have an afro. Very nice informative Video.
Thanks! I've never actually tried a roller set 🤔
Healthy Hair Junkie well I will be waiting on the video on how your hair looks.
True true. She probably has low porosity hair that doesn't absorb water and frizz. I will have to continue bantu knots with indirect heat.
Yeah I can’t air dry either. My hair wasn’t processed bone straight either.
You can also try banding
I love this video can you also make another similar video for when you have more new growth. I am always trying to find ways to deal with new hair between relaxers.
Sure, I’m around 5 weeks post right now so I’ll give it a month or so x
Yes, I feel the same. How are your results with 4 to 6 weeks regrowth? Great video.
You're so beautiful 😍 your eyes omg I'm kinda obsessed with big eyes. I also air dry my relax hair as well . On my 6 month stretch 4 months so far can't wait for my relaxer day March 2019
What type of leave in do you use,?
This is a very informative vd. I am going to try it. I have very long and thick porous relxwd hair. But I think keeping high heat off my hair is key to avoiding breakage. And your hair looks great, and you are naturally gorgeous without makeup. Tfs
So I just tried this routine and girl!!!! My hair is smooth and shiny and best of all…straight! No frizz at all!! Thank you so much!!! Game changer! No more blow drying for me I’m trying to grow long hair
I try to avoid air drying my relaxed hair simply because it just gets curly and mad frizzy. I’ll wash my hair early on Saturday or Sunday, curler set and leave the rollers in for the day that way I wouldn’t have to go under the hood dryer. But I really enjoyed your video, it’s always cool to see other people’s routines
Thanks for sharing the video i dont like to use heat in my hair i will definitely try use this technique to dry my hair.
Very beautiful I love how healthy and shiny your hair looks so beautiful WOW have a awesome blessed day today in Jesus Christ our Lord GOD and only savior by
Thank you xx
Amen.
I wish my haircare routine was this simple and cute 😂😭
Your hair looks really beatiful air dried ❤️❤️
Thank you 💜
💯💯💯💯💯💯
Our hair needs lots of attention, correct products and then long hair is completely obtainable.
Wish I new that years aga.
Great demo. How many weeks post relaxer? Do you do this as well during a stretch?
This is 1-week post relaxer. I use the same technique during my stretch but instead of wrapping my hair to wear it straight, I'll have a textured style like a braid out or twist out x
Towards the end of the video you mentioned that you will wrap your hair for the night - could you please elaborate on what that means / how to do that? This video is very helpful, thank you!!
Great videos! You have me missing my relaxed hair.
Haha I’ve been getting that a lot lately! Thanks for watching x
Your hair looks perfect from the start! Thats what I want. Perfect. Thank you girl
Thank you! 💜
Healthy beautiful hair! 😍
Can you do a video on maintaining a relaxer while regularly going to the gym. I relax my hair but it's kind of hard to maintain my roots and workout

Am in Africa and we don't have all these products but we have ORS olive products. Wish i can get all these on my hair. My hair is shedding alot so am thinking trying this Air dry methods and i pray can Relax myself so i won't have stress on saloons anymore. Uv got a new subscriber here
Don’t worry about the products so much, just use what you can and anything else that works well for you x
@@HealthyHairJunkie I will do thank you. Please I heard Avocado, egg and olive oil is too on hair and that I can use as conditioners. Is it true please ?
Thanks for sharing ..after air drying it almost two weeks ago it’s maintained it’s moisture and stayed soft with very little products being used 🙌🏾 I think this will help my hair be strong and long
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!😇💫💯💕💦
Great tips! I'm looking to perfect my air drying technique
Thanks! I hope my video helps xx
You got a great relaxer. Half of my head dries curly the other side dries straight
Didn't leave your relaxer on long enough
Hi there, thank you for this video Its so straight to the point and informative. Just a quick question, do you normally oil your scalp? and is there a need to ?
Hey girly! Love this video and the care and tips you revealed. Thk you and keep them coming!
I am dashing my hairdryer in the BIN!
😂 yaass 🙌🏾
This is such a good tutorial.
I love your channel! I have been on the healthy hair/natural/relaxed hair journey since the trend started back in 2009-2010. I have had a major setback this year since I go to the gym 5 to 6 days a week. I have major breakage in the middle/back of my head near my nape. I think its because that is where I put my pony tail when i work out. Also with the breakage, my hair is very dry because the sweat dries it out so bad. Just last year, my hair was your length. Now, my hair is barely arm pit length, but only in the front and on the sides. I have cut ALOT of dead ends. I have bought a lot of the products you suggested because I have been neglecting my hair, so I haven’t done a lot of research on hair. I have considered co-washing. Any suggestions?
Where were u when I was relaxed...damn I'm just now feeling the regret after two years of going natural my relaxed hair would've loved this technique but anyway your hair came out perfect loved the video you just earned a new natural hair subscriber
The result is great. Thanks for sharing!!
Your hair is beautiful
Thank you 💜
What do you do with your hair at night? Could you maybe do a hair night routine?
My night time routine is pretty much what I do towards the end of this video. I moisturise and seal and cover my hair with my headscarf. I can do a video on it if it'll be helpful x
your voice is everything
Why do you use two different leave in conditioners? You used the ORS liquid spray and the butter.
Great video I am going to attempt my first air dry on this week so fingers crossed. Could you do a quick video on how you wrap your hair ?
I’ve recorded it so it should be my next video up! xx
@@HealthyHairJunkie thank you x
I'm so glad I found your videos! My hair is thin and damaged and I wanted to start to get my healthy hair back. I don't have the conditioning spray or creme that you used in this video because I just ordered them. If I used the cantu deep conditioning creme for now, would I still be able to achieve the same results as you without it weighing down on my hair?
Beautiful, love this. Gonna try today.
Hello, thanks for your content.. very detailed 👌
Pls I have an urgent need, can you recommend a relaxer/Hair product for a relaxed hair with permanent colour? I'm in the UK, my hair is quite due and needs fixing ASAP. Thanks, I'd appreciate your feedback. 🙏
@healthyhairjunkie
Great video sis. The results are great!
Your edges are popping my dear
Your hair dry straight. Some people hair don't dry straight like that. Why?
It's all about the technique and applying the products at the right time. My hair is also relaxed straight, some people leave more texture when they relax x
I see. Thanx
Relaxed Hair mine never dried straight
I used to Air Dry my relaxed hair with scrunchies and would end up with beach like curls. Now that I'm natural, I realize that I'm 4C and that's prob why my hair dried in a big poof!
Love it hun thank you its like the Lord lead me right here I wanted to stop using hair dryer for a while n get away from heat but I was think how would that work without becoming dry or frizzy lol than bam I found ur video lol ... where do u get the products from hun ... I've never seen the avacado or others b4 .😊
Thanks for watching! I've added links in the description for products. I mostly use amazon or my local hair store x

Thanks girl sorry I don't know how I missed that . Look forward for more videos. God bless x
I'm relaxed with super thick hair, when I air dry my hair goes so fluffy and curly

i know this is totally unrelated but your skin tone is so even..how did you get it that way?
Makeup. Good makeup.
Looks beautiful!
Thank you xx
Been watching tones of your videos.you are pretty and your hair is so beautiful.just recently relaxed my hair and can't comb thru it easily the way you do yours.whats wrong with my hair? I really love to have a good view of your hair when its wet.been suspecting my hair is under relaxed.how should good relaxed hair look when wet?
can i air dry and use these products after getting a perm? i’m 14 and i don’t know much about hair loll but i’ve been doing my research and i’m ready to start taking my hair and my self seriously :)
Hey, these products are fine to use after a perm xx
I really love the way you take care of your hair i am going to hair dry that way love it 😀
Hi what substitute spray would you suggest to replace ors shealicious condition mist, as its no longer available?
Yazz girl new subbie 😍😍 love the hair
I trief air drying once but my ends looked king of fizzy and i was not able to get my relaxed hair to be straight.
Our hair is work, whether natural or straight.
Yes it is,🙄🙄. The struggle is real.
💯💯💯💯💯
New subscriber here! LOVE your videos! I’ve bing watched everyone! I’m relaxed too and have been all of my life except for 2 years when I went natural. I have a question. Is it okay to use natural products on relaxed hair? I notice you use some natural products like the Shea moisturizer and Cantu moisturizer.
Thanks for subscribing! 💜
I personally don't see anything wrong with using products aimed at naturals, a lot of them work well for relaxed hair too but it's all about trial and error. Some also work better for me depending on where I am in my relaxer stretch x
Awesome, excited to try this out!
I hope you found it helpful! x
This would never work for me. My hair takes a long time to dry and it’s really fine. It goes flying every direction whenever someone even breathes toward me.
I have the same exact type. This girls hair is completely well behaved.
Please how do you avoid the hair sticking together and becoming hard because I experience that a lot with air drying. And it seems with air drying I just seem to shed more hair.
I think my hair may be under processed or something as my hair isn’t straight or even close it’s kind of like my blow dried hair but a bit straighter and thiner
Same here. It's so annoying 😣
How do you get your hair not to be stiff. I am still trying to replace my products so my hair just doesn't get stiff but at this point idk what it is
Can we see a treatment routine video please?
I have a wash day video that shows how I deep condition my hair, was there anything specific you wanted to see? x
Your hairline gives you a royal look. Like a great princess or something.
☺️ thanks!
Looks great. Is your hair high or low porosity?
I don’t really focus on porosity as I think it applies more to natural hair however I think it has the characteristics of low porosity x
You sound so similar to Sophie Patterson. She is a well known interior designer in London and you sound eerily similar! You should definitely watch her house tour so you can hear her speak!
Haha I kinda hear it!
Does the brush not cut your hair?
Where do you get all your products from please do leave a link in future thank you #hairgoals
I mostly get them from my local hair store, I'll post links where possible x
So recently a stylist told me that my relaxed shouldn’t make my hair bone straight. I was confused because that’s why I thought the relaxed did. I noticed when you hair was wet it still remained straight. Is my stylist misleading me?
My stylist says the same thing.
@@chambriayarbrough3289 I honestly don’t agree with my stylist for some reason. I don’t want a curl to it. I want it to be straight.
I always want my bone straight, without alot of heat. I have read several articles that actually said the same thing.

Thank you! 💕
I am trying this i love it would tell u how it came our
I would love to air dry but I get sick so easily. It’s so cold where I live in the Winter. I just blow dry. Any suggestions?
Simply beautiful.
What should you do if you have run your hair in the rain with your relaxed skin?
How often do you relax? I usually do it every 12 weeks cause I want to use the least amount of chemicals possible. Your roots look like you may have a fresh perm
I relax every 16 weeks. This was 1 week post relaxer x
Healthy Hair Junkie when I wait until 16 weeks my hair break off because my roots get soo tangled and tided up 😕 how can I prevent that
Hey, check out my tips on stretching your relaxers and see if that helps xx
Which relaxer do you use? DIY or salon?
Great video 🌺
Hey, I'm about starting my relaxed hair journey and i would love it if you give me some pointers. Would mean a lot to me. t for thanks.:).
PS. new subscriber
Please my hair is getting damaged,it shreds a lot and not silky and smooth what treatment do i need?
You can always wet wrap ur hair or even dry wrap if u prefer🤷🏽♀️
Kadesha Grant I tried wet wrap one time and I feel like it’s a lot of manipulation and combing while wet and can cause breakage but to each their own. At that time my hair was weak so I think it caused more breakage for me.
How well does this straighten your roots to work with post over a month of having a relaxer?
I use the same method throughout my relaxer stretch
