I definitely agree that women tend to be more prone to an emotional attachment and susceptible to flattery and compliments and a guy who will listen to them and make them feel validated/pretty. I can't speak about a guys perspective lol. But I know those are things I need to guard my heart with, to honor my boyfriend and future husband. We can graciously receive the kindness, and have a measure of friendship, but need to keep our boundaries up. And determine what they are beforehand!
And when feelings or reminders about past exes or love interests arise, we can remember they are in the past for a reason. We can use times of temptation, to turn to God in prayer and draw near to Him 🙏🏼

my opinion on biblical roles, they only work if the man is not abusive and or narcissistic
That’s true! Because the mans role is to the love and lay down his life for his wife, so if he’s not doing that, he’s not in his role. I would also say a lot of men have leadership wrong. It’s not dictatorship, it’s guided by love, care and protection. That’s what true leadership looks like❤️🙏🏻
