      @ExhaustedReasonabilist People love to hate on him cause he's a cheater. Nobody ever said he didn't have a good swing, just that he has to listen for a trashcan to hit the ball.

      @@rslwannabe9475 I guess the cubs, Tigers, Dodgers, Yankees, and Red Sox also plan on implementing a sign stealing system? Since they all want him, and as you say he always uses and needs the trash can, I guess that means almost every team in the league is prepared to start cheating just for him.

    • @areligaming6263
      @areligaming6263 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      this video is from 2018 while they were in the midst of improving their sign stealing process. do they do it anymore? obviously not. all of their batting averages dropped especially in the playoffs after they got caught. he's a decent player, but he's not a great. never will be. nor will anyone else from this crew. they will always have this black mark over them. i'll be shocked if any of them make hall of fame voting after getting caught the way they did, and the lies they tried to cover it up with.

    Correa makes some great points here:
    1) keep your hands relaxed.
    2) head down with loose hips.
    3) listen for the trash can at home.
    4) on the road, sense the feel of the buzzer against my skin.
    How Correa does this interview with a straight face knowing he's a cheater... No team should sign him in free agency... Make him stay in cheat town Houston.

    Look at 4:36. The bat is not level. Correa's hands are clearly above the barrel of the bat.

    What the heck do they feed these kids in MLB nowadays? Correa was like 23 here and looked like a 40 year old giant. If he played in the 70s or 80s he would have been considered a humongous guy, but now he is just pretty normal sized for MLB. Is it mostly the drafting practices that emphasize size over everything else?

      Nutrition and S&C is different than it was. Recruiting definitely emphasizes power and speed more than ever as well.

    Correa: First, I step in the box and get in my stance to get ready to hit the pitch. Then I wait for the buzz on my right shoulder. If it's one buzz i'm sitting changeup, two buzz im sitting breaking ball, no buzz im SMASHING that heater. Its pretty simple really
