Amazingly our local AAA towing company has not bought a roll back truck. They use a flatbed car trailer and use block and tackles to recover the cars out of the ditch. The winch on the tow truck does have the two long metal hooks to hook into the vehicle that needs to be recovered.
I prefer the ford chassis’s with the 6.7.I did have a dodge and the ride quality was harsh compared to the ford.As far as Rollback carrier brand I only Buy Miller(Century,Vulcan,Chevron).I do not like Jerrdan due to not having any grease fittings. One of my old trucks was a dual tech and I wasn’t a fan of it
I've been looking to purchase my first rollback but can't seem to find any decent used one's. 600k miles and they want 30 grand. Can you give me any good recommendations on where I could possibly find one in decent shape lol
Very hard buying rollbacks in that price range most have been neglected and used. This red truck was totaled back in august and I still have not found a decent replacement for it
Great information very much spot on

Thats crazy. How does AAA even approve someone without the proper truck
@Mineomotors it's a tilt bed trailer, so I don't see how it is any different for pulling a Prius onto it than a roll back truck.
do you know the part numver on the filter for the hydro system. i have the same truck
Make sure the truck is not on crack and have any crack in it 😂
😂,these trucks get so abused.
Hey Vinny, if you were to purchase a new rollback, what cab & chassis do you think are the best? Also, what make/model of rollback? Thanks.

Yep. $22,000 for the cheapest one in our area.
