I gotta be honest, when it comes to recommending lavalier mics - I don't have much experience there. I've been using the rode lav mics or the lavs that come with the tentacly sync track E recorders and have had decent results with those. But I do not have any experience with the tascam lavs. For syncing audio in post, right click -> sync audio. Or manually align the waveforms
I'm using an M1 pro macbook pro (I have a video about it on my channel if you want a deeper dive!) and it's working great. Also use an i9 9900k that works pretty well but will stutter if there is too much of a grade and effects. Still usable though. No proxies 👍
Ive done some tests and it’s been my main battery since receiving it. My video is about done, I just haven’t had time to shoot it! Sorry, been very busy lately. Year end stuff that is not as glorious as making videos sucks!
@@keith-knittel haha no worries, thanks for the quick reply! It would be great if you could include a comparison of how long the battery lasts vs other battries like tge FxLion and the Smallrig ones (if available) and also build quality (will it last in a professional environment, i know it has the fiddly plastic covers but the is the actual battery built to last etc.. Other than that i think what ever you do will be great im a big fan and you always knock it out the park so its all good which ever way you go, thanks man
really good video bro you seem like a chill guy, just bought an a7s iii and this video really helped me!
Thanks for the kind words and glad this video helped! The A7S III is a fantastic camera
The intro was smooth man
Great video. Anyone else Cringe or a have a phobia when they see a camera with no cap on!
Thanks - and I assure you it was only for the photo/broll and the cap immediately went right back on haha
do you recommend tascam lavalier mics? How do you sync the external audio with camera video?

Hello I have 2 questions.
1 - Why do you need this bank on the table?)
2 - Why do you have blue shadows in this video?
What bank? And I try out a lot of LUTs on these videos - this happened to be a LUT that I was testing out
Hi Keith, I have an A7siii as well. Can I ask the specs of your computer for editing video? Do you use proxy files? Any info would be helpful. Cheers.

Great work man
Thank you! Cheers!
Good video, thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences, I ask you which HDMI cable for Atomos V do you recommend, again thank you very much...
Glad to help! And for the Ninja V, I'm using either the Kondor blue HDMI cable, or the Atomos HDMI cable, will link both in the description!
@@keith-knittel thanks brother 🙏🙏🙏
did you notice that the zgcine doesn't have undervoltage protection?
Hi Keith, been waiting for your review on the ZGcine V-mount Batteries, is that still happening by any chance?
Ive done some tests and it’s been my main battery since receiving it. My video is about done, I just haven’t had time to shoot it! Sorry, been very busy lately. Year end stuff that is not as glorious as making videos sucks!
Anything in particular you’d like me to include?

Great Working,Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, still testing the battery, but has been holding up well for the last few shoots I've used it for!
Have you changed from 24-105 to 24-70 gmii
Still have the 24-105 too - it's a great lens for walking around. A bit lacking when it comes to wide-angle depth of field though
cool 12mins.
Hope you enjoyed the video!
