It's really just a matter of learning and going at it until you get it done. The fights in XIV are like a dance, the more you do it the better you get at it, it also helps doing older fights like Alex and Omega because there are a lot of recycled mechanics

They're trying to blindly solve these mechanics and when they do not tell you the solutions, most groups and pf expect and are fine with people looking up actual instructions on how to do things which makes it drastically simpler. Especially since you only need to know what your job is doing, no one else
