Fun fact for those who don't know: for Shining Cells the elements are actually Fire and Light. The reason being because it's meant to symbolize Virtue and Vice, or Heaven and Hell.
Seeing how far you guys have come as a proclaimed casual group being able to see mechanics and think of solutions has been great. I wish NEST the best of proggers.
The blue/green conundrum I think is caused by the same trick they used in Promare on Lio's hair, for anyone who's seen it. Lio's hair is blond, the inside of the tiles is blue, but since they're both bordered by a bright/luminous green it tricks your eyes into thinking it's all green.
Corey having a braincell when he made that strat brought me so much joy. Also him getting yeeted by the tankbuster is satisfying (my tanks have taken notes from Corey and cleave rdps every reclear, I hate it). *Just wait til I'm the one with an axe >:D*
in the group i was raiding with, for the Shining cells phase of the fight, we usually just like to refer to the blue/green parts of the arena Baja Blast cause it looks like it colorwise.
I was so looking forward to this! Thanks again for all the hard work Drak, Liz, Artchee, this was better then i could have hoped. Looking forward to P2s! Also you figured out the pizza slices way faster then my FC did, there was so many times I completely forgot to call out where i was standing and killed everyone.
If you're using this to sleep (cause I have the same problem) I can't wait to be in the middle of a dream, and it just ubruptly ends with Woops shouting "COMMUNIO" inside it
Funny, the whole "Blue" "Green" issue was the same one I had buying my first car. The ad said "Blue", but the car was that same color of seafoam green.
With drak's UI, Corey's new avatar highlights the targeted ennemy's bar with his little halo, reminding everyone that Corey WILL try to cause 0.1% wipes
I saw Woops' footage of these fights first, and he was tearing his hair out over everyone trying to figure out the tether mechanic. This is because Hans was always closest to figuring out the mechanic, but everyone else ignored him and always went with some other convoluted idea someone else suggested. Many needless raidwide deaths were had. :)
Okay, the blue/green cells are BOTH blue and green. At a glance people can see it as either one depending on if they look at the edges (green) or the center (blue).
There is one funny thing:when i've been drawing schemes and diagrams in paint for fights (like ultimates or savages), i somehow ended up drawing lewd things and it was happening all by itself XD
@@ShivaServer2009 everyone except a tank and a dps solve their own, the tank and dps flex depending on the south square. 99% of the time in pf none of the dps know what they're doing for flex strat because they all want to solve their own and not move where as with rotation strat everyone does roughly the same movement.
@@SREDISKRAD There's also "braindead" strat, which is "'everyone solve your own, north tank eat a damage down". My group ended up on that strat after learning the fight blind; we figured the strategy was "everyone solve your own" and didn't realize there were only two patterns at first. Once we realized that sometimes we'd get a pattern where north can't solve itself solo, we decided to just keep going for now with eating a damage down, and by the time we figured out how predictable it was we were already at the end and didn't worry about a new strategy. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a suboptimal strat, but we're a casual group and as long as we get the clear, we're not worried about numbers. Since it's also pretty easy, we just stick with it.
@@SethalaTheGamer I don't like the idea of forcing a damage down on someone, it's not too hard to solve the mechanic. My hot take and probably bad take is that party finder strats are meant for people who don't want savage level responsibilities but still want savage level loot. Especially with eric, everyone had to move for intemperance anyways, why is a little more movement bad for a more consistent way to solve the mechanic. Why force 2 people to do so much more movement.
I love how everyone has new artwork but Hans is still isusing the same art he's been using forever. Truly Timeless
Hans is the immortal moogle- of he got new art- we would learn this so he decided to keep the same so we don't learn about his moogle way lol
musclemog dont need no update.
he's perfect as is
No need to mess with a masterpiece. XD
can't fix perfection
i want the ff3 portraits back :[

_but is it blue or green?_
@@vyrde Our group didn't even call it either of those and just said white.
I strongly disagree. Its very clearly nacho cheese and cool ranch doritos.
Eric is a red mage
I kept calling it wind XD
Did anyone else notice Spofie at 11:49 ?
Drak: “We’re gonna need heals.”
Spofie: *Casts Dosis III*
XD
kardia counts as heals right?
To be fair, on Sage, that *is* a heal.
Aww, a new NEST video just in time for Valentine's Day.
"Tiles are red, Corey says blue;
Spofie goes YEEET, Choco goes BOOM!"

Woops going all in on Communio every time is my new favorite bit
I dont know what it is, but its the funniest shit
@@ULTRABRULTRA It's Reaper's Lv 90 skill.
Same. That and Corey's everything.
I love that corey's evil scheming artwork has the broken halo
In the lower right hand corner Drak has markers for 1, 2, & 3 and next to them are A, C, & B
you will never unsee this now. you're welcome.
As a colorblind person, all the Shining Cells shenanigans gave me psychic damage.
Takes me back to the Sephirot Video......
Wait till you get to P3S, then, that's shit's horrible for colorblind people.
Corey hitting the ground running with attempts to gaslight somebody is a sign that this is going to go south VERY fast

Doritos and toothpaste
I call them "spicy hot" and "icy hot"
I love the little flourishes with Corey's new artwork. The halo details are an excellent touch!

This is the first raid teir I'm going through with a static. I'm enjoying these videos in a whole new light

I absolutely LOVE the new art, the art of Woops as a Reaper is SOOOOO good!
This was a fun savage raid to watch and it's just crazy how good the new arts are. I'm looking forward to when they fight the demonic horse beast.
The ending hovering over the 95 roll as Woops says he got a 99 was so relatable and painful.
drunk hans is that one moogle from the carriage ride to gridania cutscene, just chugging out of that bottle
I wonder if Woops will ever stop shouting "Communio!".........nah, he won't will he? XD
When Drak's FPS drops he's tabbed out clearly trying to distant himself from the shenanigans
Dps get priority on weapons is my favorite little quick joke. Actually made me giggle.
It’s blue in the center, green on the edges. It can be both separately!
Always fun to see your static messing around :3
i really enjoy woops yelling every time he transforms, kills me every time.
I was gonna take a nap but then Drak posted this. And I need some shenanigans to up my mood
We meme, but Corey is a very good tank. At least he seems that way to me.
10:33 Rhaya’s search info noooo!!
With my group, the two colors of the pizza slices are pepperoni and peppermint
Corey/Choco; 15:40. The first person Flare to the face incident
All this talk of colour confusion puts me in mind of a Vinesauce bit, I gotta say.
Good stuff on the clear!
"If people can clear this week 1 we don't need to funnel DPS." *laughs in p4s part 1 damage check*

Oh no, drak says ayo. Noooo
Whoops shouting "COMMUNIO" is hilarious lol

Love when Corey is being ‘bad’ his halo breaks
the 'made me IIIINK' reference! fucking lol
My group calls the sections of shining cells “red” and “Baja blast”
Coke and Mtn Dew
Pesto and Marinara
I love Srcibble's sass ^^
Aw heck yeah, more Nest raids :3
*grabs popcorn*
Rhaya being a bunny boy threw me off. Also Spofie's avatar kinda scares me, I don't know why, I guess it's just uncanny valley?
Rhaya is like
giga chad here
solving all mechanics
Oh. Opening up with Gaslighting and Murder.
NEST's brand of raids gone wrong is evolving, I see.
Rhaya: "Dodge THE right or dodge TOO right?"
Hans: "Yes"
Me: "Nailed it"
Ice is green fucking killed me 😂
Come one guys, it's obviously rue and bled
I like bunboy Rhaya. He’s built different.
I agree that it looks like red and green, but my group refers to it as fire and ice so green doesn't really fit the bill for me xD
best way to solve color situation: "Red" and "not red" tho this won't help if color-blind
rhaya seems fun to hang out with.
Oh Christmas came early again?!
Hans is eternal
Buff Rhaya... Emotions are being felt...
While drak static arguing on the whole green/blue ky static just call it white lol
Cant say I'm a big fan of Woops already knowing the fight and coming out with those ominious "but is it?" kinda comments.
