Im not a manager but I have a peer that is a very poor performer and alot of us employees have had to jump in and cover for him when he drops the ball. It also takes him twice the amount of time to get any task done. It’s very frustrating having to put aside your job to do someone else’s. The managers know but they’ve been slow to do anything about it
Sounds like a very frustrating situation! I made 3 videos on How to Manage your Manager. Requested by a subscriber. th-cam.com/play/PL8y2qIFyr0pcdUAD7z4pT6Utgy8Rse4k5.html I hope it helps you too!
I've noticed that most (if not all) PIP related videos on TH-cam are from the employee's perspective, not the manager's. This is very helpful - thank you.
Poor performance is not always an employee’s choice. Sometimes there are factors like poor induction, lack of support, personal circumstances or illness that can lead to poor performance. A good manager can help ordinary employees achieve exceptional performance and a bad manager can destroy a good employee.
I couldn't agree more @francesboardman8584. There are also other important factors in performance that are not entirely related to the individual. th-cam.com/video/CBD4xSWHwzo/w-d-xo.html
