this is pea brain advice. if i were on the path towards suicide and came across your comment, i'd kill myself just to spite you. how about we dispense with the trite sentimentality and just listen to the person. try to understand why he wants to kill himself and feel what he is feeling. it would be better for everyone. incorporate the shadow. it's okay to feel sad.
post script: wouldnt it be interesting if through listening to the objections of the suicidal, we started to see that many of us are killing ourselves too, albeit in tiny little hidden ways? but maybe thats too uncomfortable of a thought to share in youtube comments ...

To my memory I remember Etika saying he also deleted his channel because of his network. I also remember a lot of people being entitled to more streams from him and he probably felt fradturated due to the mix of chargebacks and not wanting be somebody he didn't want to be

I wonder if he ever knew his father. Seems like he was completely torn apart by the women in his life. He went to a mental hospital and as he comes out, he says he's turned over a new leaf and is going to be "straight up" from now on. What does this mean? He's paying his mom's rent for her and living under her roof. Kind of makes me wonder who recommended that he go to the mental hospital in the first place. Before this, his ex girlfriend calls him at the mental hospital and puts it on speakerphone in front of her friends, one of which is recording the whole thing. I get that the fans wanted to know how he is, but what happened to boundaries?
Let this be a lesson. Young men: take control over your lives. This world is hostile towards real human beings. Not saying to guard yourself against everyone, but save your true feelings for those who you love and hold the closest. Establish boundaries in your life. A house left unguarded will be cleaned out by thieves and stripped of all it's building materials. Once the thieves are done, there will be nothing left. Sure, you'll get views and 'likes' for bearing your soul, but you'll sacrifice your humanity in the process. Everything comes at a cost. Etika committed suicide.

He spoke about his father before I think he’s in Africa, I can’t remember what he does there though.

@@nsewell94 What his father does in africa probably involves some combination of avoiding his wife and son.
