right now we’re still catching them both in shallow and in deeper water. it’s hard to say for sure but yes they will gradually all start to move deeper... they’ll still be in the rivers though, look for oyster beds and hard bottom in deeper waters there too
Back in middle September, we went on a head boat trip and caught lots of good size berch on bottom fishing. Does that mean berch also lives on the deep bottom, not necessarily only under structures?

Treble hooks are great for hookin’ but not for removin’. I have had many treble hooks on a rattle trap in my finger from a head shakin’ bluefish.
