Good video. It helps clarify the written instructions. To confirm, ghosts accumulate on the game board round after round, yes? That is, we are NOT supposed to remove unclaimed ghosts from the game board at the end of each round, if my understanding of this video is correct.
It’s considered an adjacent room. Just walk in and out of it on your turn. I know this was a year ago but I just got the game and was watching all the explanations of it 3:00 time stamp shows him moving in and out of the middle room and hallway. Your video was most helpful! Thank you!
If you have 4 stretching paintings of different icons, and you end up with the highest haunt value, do the paintings count as 4 because they're paintings, or as 1,because you only have 1 of each icon (which is considered its "type")?
Why is it no one is explaining how do you move out of the scaeance room. It says first round no one moves out of it. So on the second round how and when do you move out of the room? Is it in the action phase which would be after the event phase? Or is it just like I’m moving now? If that is the case, then are there no turns and it’s a free for all? Like this literally doesn’t make sense. I want to actually watch people play and not just trying to explain something that you need a degree in to understand.
Did you take out some event cards at the beginning? When preparing the event deck, the rules state to take out the number of event cards equal to the number of players. In a 6 player game if you take those 6 out. This means in the game, the max number of rounds should be 8. I think that should fix the issue. Hope this helps!! Let me know if you have any other questions!!
Hi Jake! So, most of the time, people will bid 0 or 3 in my experience. (You can "try to steal" someone's card but just bid 0 and give them haunt cards to keep it if they bid a number.) That is one way. The other is if you think someone else will bid lower than 3, you can try to bid one higher than them to get the card (or tie them in the defender's case) but like you said it doesn't happen too often. I hope this helped! Let me know if you have any follow up questions and I would love to answer them! Hope you have a great day!
Hi Chase, I believe so. The rule states that if tied, all of those players would discard their group of ghosts with the Highest # of cards. I'm curious, did this happen? If so, with how many players? Thanks for asking! Hope you have a great day!
You add more Ghost cards each round. You will add the ghosts equal to the number of player plus 3. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
You didn't even get the game started. You said all players get placed in the middle but then the players magically appear outside the middle and the "traveling ghost" pass by. When did we go to a realm?
I'm sorry for the confusion. In the first event phase, all players are in the middle and none draw haunt cards. For the purposes of this video and teaching it, we skipped past the first round in an event to teach everything in one video but still have it be as quick as possible. We wanted to show how the event phase makes the players draw haunt cards when the hitchhiking ghosts are moved. If you were needing additional information about how the very first round works, feel free to check out our video where we play through the game from start to finish. Hopefully that can be of help: th-cam.com/video/pbdpsfFj-l8/w-d-xo.html If you have any additional questions, please let me know!! Thank you,

So what do you do when you run out of ghosts at higher player counts? My first game was 6 players and we didn’t have enough ghosts to finish round 11.

I don’t quite understand how to dual still why would anyone pick a number less than 3?

WHICH ROOM DO YOU START IN??? The directions don’t say and neither does your video.
All players start the game in the Seance Room, which is in the dead center of the board.
Missing steps everywhere. Not useful video
