Shine on Harvest Moon - Ruth Etting from the 1931 Ziegfeld Follies - Perfect Record

Here is Ruth Etting singing "Shine on Harvest Moon" on a 1931 Perfect Electric Record. This song was original made famous and also written by the team of Nora Bayes and Jack Norworth in 1908. Ruth Ettting made it popular all over again, when she sang it at the 1931 follies and it became one of her most popular and best selling hits. The Victrola is a 1925 Two door Victor Credenza.

@Turkeydoodlers I did not buy it, I found it in a barn clean out. It was part of the original literature that came with one of the first home recording systems put out by Victor around 1931. So it is an original Victor product, and works great.

@Turkeydoodlers Hi Mike, be sure to use a regular light bulb when looking at the strobe. A flashlight won't work. I have a small desk lamp I hold over it to see. But mine is hard to see too !!

Very nice Bruce, that speed strobe you have there, I have the same one but mine doesn't work good? Can't see the strobe lines when it's spinning.. I need to find a good one, where did you buy the one you have?

I will try the lamp. I need to get another one I think the lines on mine are to light
But once the machine speed is set you never gave to touch it again
I have a few new machines though I need to set the speed on
Any ideas where I can by a new strobe?
