Zorki 4 complete overhaul

This was my third complete camera overhaul (previously having done a FED 2 and a Topcon UNI). While a simple camera at first glance, there were quite a few odd balls in the process.
Except for the rangefinder unit that was surprisingly clean, everything was disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled. Shutter curtains and ribbons were replaced, drum and rollers disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, self-timer and slow speeds escapements ultrasonically cleaned and lubricated with Moebius watch oil, second curtain brake modified to prevent shutter capping and diopter adjuster lens tweaked to eliminate viewfinder image wobbliness.
Nevertheless, this is no Leica (or any Japanese camera for that matter). Fit and finish wasn't a soviet trademark. That, combined with aged springs (it's a 56 years old camera), means it's not spot on accurate. On the other hand, given the soviet quality control, it might as well be as accurate as it ever was.
