This came on the radio at work today, the guy in the bay next to me asked if it was the offspring, and it took me a second, but when it hit me i turned it it waaaay up! Boss wasn't happy about it but no regrets, my whole shop is 90's kids. its amazing watching about a dozen grown adults get genuinely giddy standing around a radio. From the bottom of my jaded, approaching middle aged heart, Thank you.. after the decade that has been the last two years... thank you.

My mom is insanely religious and a few weeks prior, she and her bestfriend got into an argument with my sister and bcuz my sister reacted the way she did, they assumed it was all the devil's music she was listening to, so they rounded up every tape & CD she had, maybe 40-60 and broke and crushed them all under the tires of her car in our driveway. I remember trying to save Ill Communication, Crow sndtrk, Black Sunday by cypress hill & Dr. Dre's Chronic. I failed and they ripped them outta my hands. It was a total white trash, religious breakdown in front of the entire neighborhood Good fuckin times. So my friend Jim and I would listen to Smash with the volume on 1 with our ear to the speakers and our other ear listening for my mother. My mom ended up taking off, after emptying the entire house while we were gone and 2 years later I was blasting Marilyn Manson, Rancid, Korn, Smashing Pumpkins & Deftones, worry-free!!!! Hail, hail Rock N' Roll!

Now there’s definitely some talented musicians out there, Bruno Mars, Adele, Ed Sheeran etc. but they’re solo acts and it’s all pop and no rock. I really feel bad for your generation and I’m thinking anytime a new scene is going to explode because you guys are due. The 90’s was the most diverse generation in music history. You had Grunge, pop-punk, alternative, Indie/progressive rock etc. musically the best band IMO will always be the Beatles… no band can come close to writing that many hits and progressing their sound through decades. I’m a huge offspring fan. I’ve seem 5 times and met them once. If this is there first single I’m kind of nervous about the rest of the album. Noodles use to shred that guitar. This was to soft especially for a first single. I’ll listen to the album and hope they prove me wrong

Dog gone, the offspring has been my favorite band for years now and the last time I really jumped around was when i was a little grasshopper back in 95 jumping around in the back of the school bus to come out and play.. Heck yeah im ... STILL ROLLING OFFSPRING ..!!!
